Bio Photo Hi, I'm Pam. Thanks for visiting my page.

I am happy to transfer memorials of any person I'm not related to. There are memorials I have added that are waiting for family to claim them.....
Just let me know!

Feel free to use my gravestone photos, but I expect you to credit me as the photographer.
Too many of my photos are being put on other sites, and the person who submits them takes the credit. That's in violation of my copyright.

PLEASE NOTE* - When I photograph grave stones, I do not disturb them in any way, nor do I clean off bird droppings or grass clippings. If you are unhappy with a particular photo, I can try to go back to get a better one if you let me know.

Thank you.

~~Please visit my parents: ♥♥
DAD---Gene Haag, and
MOM---Laura Mae Haag.

My friend Terry.

Our beloved dog, REBA.

Please also visit this 16 year old boy,
Charles E. Shipley. He is buried in the loneliest spot in the cemetery.
**************
Thank you for visiting my memorials.

"Aye, thus it is, one generation comes,
Another goes, and mingles in the dust;
And thus we come and go, and come and go,
Each, for a little moment, filling up
Some little place; and thus we disappear
In quick succession; and it shall be so
Till time, in one vast perpetuity,
Be swallowed up."

RE: Hello Pixie.....
Hello Sweet Pam, Thank You so much for your nice compliment, we clean up pretty good just don't have a reason to very often! =)

We're doing good, it's been awfully hot here too, and was getting pretty dry again till we got 1.3 inches of rain last Tuesday then this morning we got 2 1/2 tenths of light rain, the high today was 80.

Sold 6 semi loads of our steers today, we have been gone all day just now got on Find A Grave, and saw your sweet message. Glad to hear all is well with your family, your grandbaby is beautiful...a adorable little sweetheart!

I would like nothing better than for you to stop and see me if your ever down Kansas way! What a joy that would be for me!!

Please take care my dear friend, you are always such a sweet heart..you don't know how to be any other way!!
Sending {{Hugs}} from Kansas
Love You
Pixie

RE: Reta Nickerson Pierce
There was never a formal reply, but the issue seems to have been resolved within a day or two. Growing pains on the part of the web site, I think. Thanks so much for your message and your understanding!

RE: Hi,
Hi Pam, sorry to hear that your laptop is giving you problems. Modern technology is great as long as it works! I hate having to get something new because most of the time I can't figure out how to work it :-(

Goodness, your family just keeps on growing! Having all those babies born around the same time will be so much fun (at least for you).

Things are good here except that summer is flying by way too fast! Don't have much time on here myself. Just so many things to do and not enough time.

Take care! Hugs, Rosie

RE: Dear friend
Good Morning, Sweet Pam....Thank You, it was time I came back. I missed all of you, I missed remembering and visiting all the beautiful memorial's!

Sounds like your beautiful family just keeps growing, how great is that!!

I'm sorry about your computer, I would just have to bite the bullet and go get a new one, I would be lost without FB and Find A Grave...gets lonesome on the prairie! =)

Have a wonderful day, it felt like fall this morning, a refreshing 59 degrees, love it!

Sending Love and lots of Hugs

Thanks Midwestmom for letting me know about the notation on his mother's stone about him. A previous Find A Grave Contributor in 2011 had told me there was no marker or any mention of him on any marker in the cemetery. Thus my notation. Thanks for letting me know about the information on his mother's marker and for the GREAT photographs of her marker. They are GREAT APPRECIATED!! Sincerely, Baxter

Charles Shipley
Hi Pam,
I've been searching for Charles Shipley. I read his bio again and wondered if the Mormon site (Family Search) or Ancestry would have something. I found a census (Ancestry) for 1900 in Hancock County, Indiana that lists a Charles Shipley, age 15 who was a boarder in the house of Tighlman Scudder. There is also another young man boarding with the family. Charles' birth date is given as Sept. 1884, (Indiana) which isn't off by much on the headstone. We've found in our family searches that this is common. Some of our families first names are spelled wrong or written in a sloppy manner which caused someone else to take them for a different letter also.

If he was a boarder at such a young age, it might explain why no one came to look for him. Maybe he had no family. It might be your Charles Shipley.
