Bio Photo "A Walk Through Time" is an event held each year in Oct with the donations going to the preservation of Forrest Cemetery in Gadsden, AL. This year's event is Sunday,12 Oct 2014 from 2:00-5:00. There will be over 50 portrayers who are dressed in period dress and will tell the life story of some of Gadsden's famous and not so famous. It's the most fun you'll ever have in a cemetery! Hope to see you there.

My grandfather was a brown from Cherokee County. His family was in Gadsden, Centre, Floyd Co., Ga and all over northeast Alabama. I don't know for sure if he is related. Sorry, diane

He is not buried in Cave Hill National Cemetery. He's in Cave Hill Cemetery, Sec. O, Lot 250, #77. Most of the Confederate soldiers are buried outside of, but adjacent to the National cemetery at Cave Hill.

I am thrilled to hear that you were happy to see the photos!! I was in the area for a few short hours and while I was there looking for my family (Addy family)I took as many pictures as I could. Wished I had more time, but am hoping for another chance to go to Mississippi soon.
