I lost my one and only son to congestive heart failure on December 3, 2012. My heart is broken...
My son: David Ray Raley, Jr.
Also, to everyone who visits Dave's physical grave site, please know that no matter who you are, including his ex's and all of his children, I am happy you visit. Please, do visit. He loved you all very much. God bless every one of you.

A native of San Diego, CA. Family roots are: England, Maryland, Tennessee, Arkansas, Kentucky, Oklahoma, Missouri, Illinois & California.
Please feel free to peruse through the memorials I have set up for these very special people listed here. Some are family, some were acquaintances, some are past co-workers and some stories have touched my heart as I read of their demise. To view the entries, click on the words "70 Memorials Added" listed to the right of this column. You will then be directed to a page with names of those I have placed on this site. Thank you in advance for your kindness in visiting.
Unlike many of the new comers, as well as those who have been a contributor for some years to Find-A-Grave, I am not anal about photos. If you wish to use my photos, please do. Also, unlike most others here who are anal about their postings, I will not question a transference of ownership of any memorial I have posted who is not my own family. Ask, and I'll be most happy to turn it over. My attitude about this stems from my not taking life too seriously. Like my photography, I started doing this for fun and relaxation. Unlike most who found this site, I am not in the numbers game.
For corrections or concerns about the listings, please e-mail me.
Thank you in advance & may God bless & keep you in His tender care.

Sorry to read about the untimely passing of your son... what a tragedy.
I couldn't agree with you more about the contributor of Find A Grave who are in it to amass numbers and unwilling to transfer memorials. Who's going to request a transfer if they’re not somehow attached to the person who the memorial was created for? I can understand if you have a family connection and you'd rather maintain a memorial yourself, but not to transfer based on the Find A Grave guidelines is incredible stupid, selfish, insensitive and controlling. I think these people love the recognition and sense of control they feel with their numbers and when they refuse to transfer. Guidelines are just that "guidelines", not absolute rules and/or regulation that must be adhered to.
Thank you for your find-a-grave contributions, kindness and proper attitude about the memorials you create. Please continue the good work, find-a-grave needs more contributors just like you!!!

I know I have to do my area really quick or its gone. Then when they do put them up, they are adding the obit which is great, but not adding the info in the other boxes because they are in a hurry to grab the next one. Then I have to sent in the corrections.
Thanks for the comment.

You are so welcome.
What a smile and I will bet he was a great son to you.
There are no words except to say that my faith says we will be reunited with our loved ones some day if we know the Lord.
God's Best to You,

Hi - Thank You for the response, I can't believe the time that blew by since my mom's loss to my getting back around to some of my friends' pages! I just listed his name, and I hope that it will bring a few visitors who might not have known about your son without the listing...hope that all is well with you and yours, and that we will be in better touch from now on. Take Care - Hugs, RCP and Gannon Blue

Well, it has been a very long time since we last spoke, and I am coming round again to see whether you'd mind my highlighting your son's page again...one of my friends noted that the tokens had slowed down, and I have basically been offsite since my mother's passing in August, 2013. =( But I am back, and I have kept you in thoughts and prayers - would you like me to do any highlighting again? Let me know, and I do hope that all is well with you and yours -m I am just very, very happy that 2013 is long gone, not a keeper of a year for me! Hugs, Rhonda and Gannon Blue

Hi - Thank You for your message, and I am so pleased that you are okay with my having highlighted your son's page...believe it or not, I have had just a couple of requests to take a name down - but I do understand. Some folks are very particular about the tokens put on their pages, etc. - and I used to ask people before I ran a name, but so many folks didn't give me a no or a go...so, I just do what I've done all my life, jump and hope for the best. =) I'm so sorry that your son had health issues; my boy Gannon is very, very physically and mentally disabled, and I just feel so badly for all the trials he endures - but he is so brave about it that it leaves me in awe. I hope that Dave will get more visitors, and once my 'regulars' know a name, they check back again and again, and so now you're probably stuck with us. ha! Take good care and even though I am not on here as much right now due to my own health issues, I will always, always get back to someone asap, and so say hi once in awhile. Hugs, Rhonda and Gannon Blue
