If you see incorrect or missing info on a memorial that I manage, I will be happy to fix that. (Please provide info on where your info can be sourced) Also I am happy to transfer any immediate family members to another volunteer. Findagrave guidelines say within four generations, but I sometimes agree to transfer more distant relatives - so long as they are not also my ancestors. Be sure to include your name and volunteer number in your request to make it easier. Use the "Edit" tab on the memorial which will provide me a hotlink to the memorial.
Please cite my name as reference if you choose to use any photos that I have posted here and PLEASE do not copy the bios or photo to give to Ancestry; that is not a free site. Please show the courtesy of asking permission and telling me where you want to use the info. I have spent a lifetime collecting the info and want to keep it free. Thank you.

Carolyn, I have no idea..... I can't find her memorial. Can you send the Find A Grave# and I'll see if I can figure out WHY I sent that?! Becky

You have a keen eye, thanks for writing. Yes, I know I've made a duplicate memorial for Susannah Carey Brittenham Harley. The person who made the other one refuses to correct hers (has wrong solomon brittenham as husband, among other errors); we've communicated, she stands firm. So I'm going to leave my duplicate up until told otherwise by Find A Grave. And, yes, mine is the more correct one. Thanks for your concern.

I added the changes you suggested about the his name. Thank you. I feel that since the original obit is linked to in the memorial a bio taken from the obit isn't necessary.

You are welcome. I also found a death notice for Mary Samuel Arnold, in the Iola Register. If you would like I can send you a copy.

According to her obituary she died Jul. 31, 1886, at the home of her daughter Mrs. J.L. Arnold who lived in Iola. Both Susan and Mary Arnold were listed in the 1885 KS state census in Iola.
If you have something that disproves this I will gladly add it.

Actually, my kids are. Lol. Their dad is a gggrandson. I have been researching the doby line for years. I have been trying to locate a death certificate for him. Of course, he is buried in Oklahoma but not sure were he was when he died. Do you remember if aunt maude ever said. Sad to say I only was able to visit with her once.
Hi, saw your comment on Chris doby's memorial. Are you related?

Do you know which Blacksburg Helen was born in? (Montgomery, Rockbridge or Washington County?)
