I just drove over the hill through the maintenance site and into the cemetery. I can't say that is the particular stone. I intended to say that it is a representative one. There is no real way of knowing which is which without a map and the display board on the site only lists names, sometimes prison numbers and death dates. All of the graves with names on their stones are photographed and on findagrave.com.

Please add your photo of August and Elizabeth Kiepke at Rosenberg Cemetery to Elizabeth's Find A Grave page, too.
Thank you for the photo's. I am related to them on my dad's side and Davis's on my mom's. Thanks for all you do.

No, just looking for photo ops. I am from O'Neill. Looks like you've done a lot of work!

I'm confused. New Hope is a cemetery listed on Find A Grave... Is it the same as Mount Hope? Was it called New Hope it it's early days?
Is John Drebert in Mount Hope? I was using his obit as the location of the cemetery. Or should I put him in "unknown" cemetery.

I bet you were missed when I changed email providers. So sorry about that.
Happy New Year

I knew Susie, Marge and Lawrence when they all lived here. Marge is a sweetheart. Her son, Donnie is buried there also. He was originally buried in the Nimrod cemetery. But after Susie's accident they had her buried there and came back and got Donnie also. Donnie died in an accident too, I think it involved a motorcycle if I remember right. Lawrence was a great horse shoe player, had quite a reputation here. (Even on his stone, lol) Susie was a very beautiful woman. Everyone thought she could have been a great model if she had gone for it, but wasn't interested I guess. She had the body and the brains and could have been very successful.
After she married Fandrich (First husband was Milbradt) she kind of went off the radar. He got her to move away with him down to Iowa and we didn't see much of her after that. It was kind of the general opinion that he was a little jealous of her closeness of her friends here. Everyone loved her and made over her, and we think he just wanted away from it.
When they had her funeral down there, it was packed with people from Sebeka and Nimrod.
I'll see if I can find an obit or write up of the accident in the local paper to post to her memorial.
Thanks, Brad, for the newer photo for Mr. Jorgenson. I noticed the older one disappeared. What a relief!
Hope you're having a wonderful summer. I am so grateful for all the photos you've done at Bluff View and other cemeteries. Linda

|Loren Bender||hilltop Cemetery|
See Brad this is why you make the big Bucks you know all the ins and outs and nicknames of these cemeterys. I found that headstone info and assumed that since hilltop in Dakota county was the only hilltop listed in Nebraska must be the place. I assumed it might be a neighboring county but never checked. thanks for keeping me honest . take care. Loren
