Bio Photo Amateur genealogist for over twenty years. I'm blessed with identifying 29 of my 32 great-great-great-grandparents and sixteen immigrant ancestors.

Along the way I also began accumulating information about non-ancestral Bartons which has grown into the Barton Database at www.bartondatabase.com

RE: Sgt Roy W. Barton (1892-1918)
I have uploaded gravestone pictures for Roy (#74224168), David, and Mollie Barton. I hope this helps.

RE: Willard H. BARTON (1858-1938)
Hi,
I have made the changes you suggested.
Small world- I looked at your Barton database and your number I19969 Hiram Thadeus Barton is my great great grandfather.

How wonderful to hear from you! I love the database you have. I see what you mean for Roy W. Barton. I see the census listing John D. and Mary E. Barton as parents of Roy W. Barton. In the Indiana Gold Star Honor Roll book (it is also listed on ancestry.com, you can google also), Roy W. Barton's parents are listed as David and Mollie Barton. David and Mollie are listed in the cemetery records as being in the same lot as Roy W., but where is their gravestone? So who are all these Bartons? Linda Palmer Farbry is very nice and related to the Bartons, she might know more. There are only a few of us working to document the cemeteries here, but we are very committed and love a good mystery!

Langevin
Hi Gary,

There are two Langevins buried at Lone Mountain with no names and no dates. I was wondering if they could be the parents of your great-grandmother. If so, if you will provide me the information I will add it to their site. Also, there are no headstones. Thank you, Melinda
