We live in the corner of three counties northwest of Des Moines, but are willing to extend beyond that to help someone find their loved ones resting place. When we search for family stones, we usually take photos of stones that aren't on FAG in the same cemeteries we are searching. My husband Alan has become involved in taking the photos. Many times he will make comments and sign his name. We both enjoy the great outdoors and doing lots of walking. Volunteering is one of our passions, helping others.
Beverly Anderson Orgen Sinclair Thank you for posting the tombstone for my cousin Beverly # 116827952...Would it be alright if I post the photo on my tree on Ancestry. I will give you the credit for the photo.....Dotty
# 55153787 Rev J C Robbins May I use the picture of this marker in a book I am writing about his wife's family? I would really appreciate it as it shows he was a Reverend. I have records of marriages he performed in Mahaska County, Iowa in 1850, but the censuses all list his occupation as a farmer. I would love to include the photo taken by you of his monument in my compilation of documents. Thank you so much, Dawna
Hilsenbecks in Jefferson Cemetery Hi, I was wondering if you had ties to the Hilsenbeck family in the Jefferson Cemetery in Iowa. They are my wife's great grand parents. I am in the process of uploading pictures and historical data. Would you consider a transfer if you are not related?
