Bio and Links
Bio Photo Wanda and I enjoy getting out and walking the cemeteries, photographing the headstones, and fulfilling photo requests. If the photo we have supplied to fulfill your request is not to your liking please let us know and we will do our best to get a better one. Sometimes we might add more photos then you want on the memorial and if that is the case we can delete what you don't want. We will be more than happy to make corrections, add information or transfer the memorial to you if they are a member of your family.
We have been helped in our family research many times by information on FindAGrave and hopefully others will be helped by information we have added.

When making suggested edits for memorials please give your source of information.
We will not make edits based on assumptions. Thank you!

re Furlong
No I am not related. Admin transferred a lot of cemeteries to me to clean up..some have both maiden and married names or just maiden names, some have a lot of dupes. Am working on another and then will take a look at the Elmvale cemetery.
I live in the area so if you wish I can find out more about these entries, some obits etc.
Good luck

RE: Laura Jane Specht, Obit
Hi Harold and Wanda, I am not related to the Powers, sorry. My last name is not Powers either. Maybe you looked at something incorrectly? Glad you liked the information. It sure comes in handy when doing research. Holler if you need anything. Shane

RE: Matilda Jane Scott, #121389271
I did not find a stone for Matilda. The only Scott I found anywhere in the area was for a Nancy. There were a few that were unreadable, but not near Nancy either. Not sure if they're related? Sorry!

They're wonderful out there!!

If you would like to email the map with location to me, I'll try to swing by tomorrow on my way home from work. My Mom has rebounded and stabilized for now so will likely be off hospice in the next few days if it remains this way!! Kim

I'm sorry - was thinking Mt Hope (adjacent to Quindaro). Try this:

There is a map connected to the cemetery on F/G. The Wyandotte County Museum would be of help - I thought that was the number you had. Sorry. 913-573-5002. They s/be able to direct you a bit closer to the burial location too.

RE: Matilda Jane Scott, #121389271
I put the memorials up from the records. Most of the cemetery has been photographed, but I do not see a stone yet. I added the plot location, but you might want to call the number and have them locate her grave before you go. I would go look for it for you, but my Mom is in hospice at the moment. Kim

RE: Harold & Wanda
No, my candidate was the best of the lot but finished 4th. The successful candidate is widely known as the densest in the House. Go figure!
