I am from a large farm family. I had five brothers and five sisters. I went to a one room country school for my first year and after that commuted to a nearby town to school there. I am married, have three grown children, six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. |
My interest in genealogy perhaps began when my mother's uncle sent her a letter inquiring about our part of the family. In a small way, I had a hand in filling out that questionnaire. I, later on, obtained the book that this uncle had given to my mother with the compiled information in it. Years later, I was able to obtain records that my father's sister had kept with all the information she had put together of our family history on Father's side. You could say that I inherited two nice sets of information. I have done my best to continue on with the start these two gave me, trying to keep information up to date. I realize this will never be finished! However, the computer makes the work so much easier than my uncle and aunt had it.
My youngest daughter has also developed an interest in family history and was the one to introduce me to findagrave. I am glad to have been able to pass this interest on to her generation.
Please email me with any updates, corrections, or removals on any of the information that I have posted.

|N Hargitt||Pearl R. Albin Ward|
Pearl #14620292, was the daughter of Ernest Leroy Albin #113581800, and Myrtle Goss Albin, #113581850. Her husband was Martin T. Ward, #30036665. I'm trying to get my Albin family linked together. Thank you for your help.

Apparently the memorial page you signed over to me contains a link that is not permitted on this site, the 'Love Chloe Foundation.' I cannot remove it since I didn't create the page. Find A Grave is demanding its removal. I'm sorry.
|Lori Finto||Faith Tristan Clarke Doty|
I have a question regarding info about Faith Clarke Doty Phillips: Daughter of Thurston and Faith Clarke.
"The following courtesy of Pam Johnson:
A sad story about her dad, Thurston. He and Faith (age 15) came to America on the "Francis" in 1634. The ship sailed from Ipswich about the last of April with John Cutting, Master. In 1661, Thurston frozed to death on his way from Plymouth to Duxbury in 1661."
Do you happen to know the source of this info? How can Thurston have died in 1661 and arrived in America on The Francis in 1634?? I'm just beginning to gather info on this part of the family and want to make sure I'm with the correct family/info.
