Martin, thank you for reminding me about John and his family. Yes John is David Clark Smelser's son and I have linked them. I meant to put them on Find A Grave some time ago, but I found that I didn't. So here is the Memorial for John 132919043. I will be adding more info on their pages as I have time. Thanks again for the new info which I will also add. Sheila
|Grand Army of the Republic||Philip Cheek Info|
Thank you for the additional birth info for Philip Cheek Jr.. Unfortunately, Findagrave does not have Silverton as a selection in Somerset. There is a Silverton in Devon and Findagrave does not have that village either as a selection.
Best regards, Karl

Hi, Thanks for the information. I have added it. Take care.
The data you provided is for his father Martin Ziebarth. He was drafted, and mustered in on 30 May 1864 and mustered out on ll July 1865. (Minnesota Civil and Indian Wars).
Martin's wife Juliana was awarded a widow's pension on certificate #775394.
Bernard Ziebarth was born on 20 Sep 1867.
The entries in Ancestry Search Read "Bernard Ziebarth, when opened, it Reads Martain, same problem for five other Ancestry entries that read Bernard, but in doument they list Charles, etc.
Thank You, Don
Thanks so much for the additional info

|John Uhlman||Herman Thurow|
Thank you for the information about the Thurow's. I have tried (unsucessfully) to get information from St. John's in Ashippun. I have mailed them 2 or 3 letters over the past 10 years, requesting information, and every time I received nothing.
|Farrar and related families||The Farrar family is very grateful to you for the info.|
|Courtney B||August Knick|
Thank you for the additional information! I have updated August's memorial:
I have also located his wife Catherine(her last name was spelled incorrectly) and linked them.
Also I linked his brothers in the bio section :)
