My family lineage is through George Steel(e) who settled in Bedford County, PA. That lineage is George, Philip, George, George, Moses, Charles Edward and Paul Victor Steele. My family moved to Holmes Co, Ohio and Moses and many family members migrated to St. Joseph Co, Indiana where most of us have stayed in the general area. I have 3 grown children, 4 grandchildren and 4 step-grandchildren.
I am fairly new to deep genealogy but have always wanted to know who my family was.
I am willing to take photos of local cemeteries if requested. I like to take photos of the area where the interment is to give the viewer a little better sense of the tranquility of the cemetery. I am a member of Friends of Silverbrook, the city owned cemetery here in Niles. We do restoration work on many of the headstones at the cemetery. Take some time to visit the website.
