We work as a team: Russian-Danish family living in London. After a few years in the Middle East, we have now moved to our next adventure in China. County-keepers for England. Being long-term expats, we are very interested in all Russians and Danes who found their last resting place away from their home countries. We will be grateful for any comments, advice and links to memorials. Thanks to this wonderful website we have found many friends all over the world and the amount of mails we receive increase all the time. We appreciate all the mails and ALWAYS reply but sometimes it takes longer than we would like to!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!|
We prefer to get your questions and corrections through e-mail (use the EDIT tab in the memorial). Please include your own e-mail in case we need to write back to you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I see you have posted a photo of Herbertʻs grave stone (# 11437) on his wifeʻs, Emma Alice Margaret Tennantʻs memorial page... is she also buried in this same tomb? I only see his name engraved on the stone. And may I use your photo of the church and churchyard on my private family tree? Emma is my 2nd cousin 4X removed... I always give credit to the members who graciously allow me to use their photos... thank you so much and happy thanksgiving!

Dear Julia and Keld,
I would kindly ask you to make a few minor changes to the following cemetery which you added:
Jewish cemetery, Vevey, Vaud, Switzerland
Would you mind changing the following information?
"Cimetière Israélite de La Tour-de-Peilz" instead of "Jewish cemetery".
Thank you and have a good day!
Looking for members of this family who resided in Irkutsk at the time of the revolution.They owned a farm near the Angara River. They were Catholic, so they may have been buried in a church yard.

What do you mean?
|Betty LeBeau||grave look up|
Hi, I don't know if this is the proper way to request a grave look up or not, but here is what I need.
My ancestor worked at the Royal Naval Hospital for many years, he died there in Oct. 1828.
His name was John Samworth, he had a wife named ann and another. Elizabeth Lefebre.
I don't know the name of the cemetery he was buried in, I believe there are two at the RNH.
If you know of how I can find his grave I would really appreciate it.
Thank you, Betty LeBeau from Arizona USA
Thanks, again, for your many assists.

|Rob Wethly||Sgt Anthony Ezra Rosen|
Dear Julia and Keld,
I'm looking for information about the gravestone you uploaded:
Sgt Anthony Ezra Rosen is burried in Schoonebeek in the Netherlands and I'm researching for a long time all the 24 men burried in Schoonebeek. I noticed your picture and I want to know more about it.
With kind regards,
|Rebecca McIntosh||Police Sergeant. John McNally.|
Thanks for alerting of the dupe on "Police Sergeant. John McNally.". We did a search for John McNally that did not return any matches (not surprising with the "Police Sergeant" prefix in the name and those periods "." in the name). Someone submitted a name correction that hasn't been accepted by the memorial owner yet. I've also left a message on their wall asking them to clean up the name. We'll get it sorted sooner or later.
|Romilly Leeper||DATZI, Adolph (1871 - 1949) and DATZI, Alice Rose (1874 - 1948) Alliance Cemetery Jerusalem|
Dear Julia and Keld Thank you very much for taking a photograph and leaving flowers for Adolph and Alice Rose Datzi in the Alliance Cemetery, Jerusalem. I believe Adolph Datzi was born in Romania and worked as a pharmacist at the English Hospital in Jerusalem. His wife, Alice Rose (nee?) was possibly of Circassian descent. My email is firstname.lastname@example.org. The descendants of Alice Rose's Montesole relations would be most grateful to receive any information about her. Romilly

Have found a record of Ivan and Maria Kalugin buried in Stretford Cemetery in plot S1/446.
I will be visiting there soon, so hope to get you a photo if there is a viable headstone. Can also supply a file copy of burial register scans by email if you want them
