Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have researched my family heritage for many years. I would like to share what I have found with others who are also looking for their family. When I go to the cemeteries I try to take photo's of as many of the stones as I can. I hope this will help someone else looking for their family.

If anyone would like family memorials transfered to them, or would like changes made to anything I have added to fag, just let me know. I will be glad to do so. Any stone photo's I have added to fag may be used with my permission, for family records only. I do not give permission for them to be used for profit in any way.

Please remember we are all doing this to help each other. Though most requests I have gotten have been asked very nicely, I have received a few that have not been so nice. This is why I no longer post my e-mail address on my profile page.
If you leave a message on my page I will get back to you as soon as I can.

Mary, I am the Newsletter Editor for the Bartholomew Co Genealogical Society. We are celebrating our 25th year, and plan to do an article on John Hamblen, our founder. Would you mind if I copied the photo you took of his stone to publish in our Newsletter ? Thanks !

I found that problem alot - they fill one area up and move down the road and they don't really change the name - gets confusing -- One in Austin is split by a road and you have to know which side of the road to go to -- then when they say the new part maybe locals know which is the new part but others don't.

Thank you for clearing things up. You are doing a good job!

William T Branaman

I just spoke to a nice lady at the historical society and she read an old article that states he was a judge and was buried at Riverview. I will now set up a Find A Grave site for him and put in a photo request. Thanks so much for your help!!

RE: Clear springs Cem.
That would be wonderful. Not sure if you are familiar with Seymour, IN but I am looking into the burial location of William Thornton Branaman who died in that town 6/16/1906. He was the prosecuting attorney and was a son of Christian and Mary Wells Branaman. He never married and lived with two maiden sisters one of whom, Frances, ended up in Florida. There is no F-A-G site for him and I don't know if there are many cemeteries in that town. Any clues as to possible locations?

Clear springs Cem.
Does the church have burial records? If so perhaps William F Wells is identified as buried in the early 1850s? Also there may be other Wells children without marked stones?
