"Perhaps there are no stars, only openings in Heaven where the love of our lost ones pour through and shine down upon us to let us know that they are happy"|
I am a retired state worker. I have been retired for over 13 years now, retiring from Nevada Highway Patrol as a Administrative Aide II, in July of 2003. Retiring was the best thing that I have ever done for myself. I am married and have one daughter, three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
I have been putting names on Obituary Daily Times since 1997. At that time I started keeping the obits that were written up in the local newspapers so I could help people do their genealogy and locate loved ones that have passed on.
I enjoy doing genealogy very much and have traced my family clear back to 1618, so why not help other people that are interested in doing it. I research Wakefield, Staley, Campbell, Stargell and Walker lines. I also run two online gift and collectibles stores and three auctions sites. I am busier now than I have ever been when I was working. Keeps me out of trouble. (Grin) I love writing the stores up about those who have passed on and I hope that when my turn comes, someone will do the same for me.
If tomorrow starts without me,
And I'm not there for you to see,
If the sun should rise and find your eyes
All filled with tears that are for me;
I wish so much you wouldn't cry them
The way you did today,
While thinking of the many things we did,
But didn't get to say.
I know how much you love me,
As much as I love you,
And each time that you about me,
I know you'll miss me so;
When tomorrow starts without me,
Please try to understand,
That an angel came and called me by name,
And took me by the hand,
And said my place was ready,
In heaven far above,
And that I'd have to leave behind
All the people that I dearly love.
But as I turned to walk away,
A tear fell from my eye,
For all my life, I'd always thought,
I didn't want to die.
I had so much to live for,
So much left in life yet to do,
It seemed almost impossible,
That I am leaving you.
I thought about all of the yesterdays,
The good ones and the bad,
I thought of all that we have shared,
And all the fun we have had.
If I could relive yesterdays,
Just even for just a little while,
I'd say good-bye and kiss you
And maybe see you with a smile.
But then I fully realized,
That this will never be,
For emptiness and memories,
Would take the place inside of me.
And when I thought about the worldly things,
I might miss some in the tomorrow,
I thought of you, and when I did,
My heart will be filled with sorrow.
But when I walked through Heaven's golden gates,
I felt so much that I was at home.
When God looked down and smiled on me,
From His great golden throne,
He said, "This is your eternity,
And all I've promised you."
Today your life on earth has past,
But here in Heaven life starts anew.
I promise you no tomorrow,
But today will always last,
And since each day will be the same way,
There's no longing for the past.
So when tomorrow starts without me,
Please don't think we're far apart,
For every time you think of me,
I'm always right there, in your heart "

|FamleLady||Husband of Bobbie Layman|
I found him. He is buried in Utah.
|FamleLady||Bobbie LaVern Layman|
In 1979 Bobbie married Don Robert Grieve in Nevada. He died in 2006 in Utah, but I cannot find any thing else about his death or if he was buried or cremated. Do you have any information about his death.

I know where her ashes are. I know who tends them well. It is her eldest son.

I don't live there either. The info for the cemeteries say they are next to each other but separate. And I can't find a burial listing for either online. The obit doesn't say which cemetery. Like I said there are marker pictures for the other entries. If you are wrong, I would put them in the correct cemetery since you have the most complete entries and the others were added just last year. She should delete hers. thank-you.

Judy, can you verify if the Pearce's are buried in Masonic Memorial Gardens or Mountain View? There are entries and marker pictures for them in Mountain View. I understand these cemeteries are next to each other. Thank-you.

Whatever works best for you. I'm not picky. Do you have any special interest in me transferring to you? If so, say the word. Hope you had a great weekend.

Judy, you set up Find A Grave Memorial #29060231...recorded Aug. 16, 2008 for my nephew L. Keith Honea. I would like to create Find A Grave Memorials for other Family members that have been cremated and not buried in a cemetery but I don't know how. Would you please be so kind as to explain process to me. Thank you. Sincerely,
|Thomas Erbes||Clarence Elroy George Faber|
I found Clarence Faber at the Northern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery (46285835). This will provide a resting place for your Clarence Elroy George Faber.
|Sheryl ||James S. Wakefield|
I added a photo to his memorial page.

|Legacy||RE: Charles Edward Wolf's Bio|
If you don't mind, you could delete your page. I have one for "Chuck" myself. It is interesting that he was most often referred to as "Chuck" by his family, but during his time in Nevada his friends called him "Charlie". I like the original bio you had on your page. That obituary is the first confirmation I found of his passing. I think I will include that on my page, since it tells some about his life in the years prior to his death. As you probably know, he was the youngest of 12 children, and he was apparently a restless soul. From what his sister Mary has said, he was in and out of their lives after he joined the service after high school. He was married three or four times--they are not sure just how many times--and he had several children. His first two wives were the mothers of his sons Eugene (Wife #1) and Hohn (Wife #2), but the family does not know the details about his other wives and children. One of his later marriages was to a woman who was supposedly an "heiress" of the Dole Pineapple people in Hawaii. His family will probably never know the full details, nor how many half-siblings there may be.
