I came across this site while doing research on my grandparents military service during world war 2. I found that memorials had been made for several relatives and I am working on adding others and linking them together. Awesome site! |
I travel central Minnesota regularly and will do what I can for photo requests.

Hi Duane! Thank you so much for taking the photo of my greatgrandfathers grave! I'm new to Ancestry.com--but just read in their tutorial that you should have permission from the person who took the photo to put it as a source on your tree. So I am asking your permission! PLEASE :c) contact meat LoisWilson2011@yahoo.com thanks again Lois
|Ronda Anderson||Photo of Martin & Andrew Anderson|
I am Ronda L Anderson, and I believe I (and 11 more siblings!) are your 3rd cousins, once-removed. My father was Donald Harvey Anderson, deceased in Jan. this year; his father was Henry Gustav Anderson, and Henry's father was Anders/Andrew Anderson. I noticed Henry was not listed in Andrew's obituary, except as one of the "five sons," but he was born in 1902, next in line after Ida.
We only have one photo of Andrew, just dug out & turned over by my mother last summer, and were thrilled to have that, and I am now tickled to find the one you posted of Martin, Andrew & the other siblings. Did I understand correctly, that there were 7 kids altogether? Can you verify the name of Martin and Andrew's mother? I did not previously know their father's name either, so your photo has helped me to add another generation to our research. Thank You! Is it possible to get a flat scanned version of this photograph? If not, that's okay, this one is quite good the way it is, but I'm a shutterbug, so I always like to get the best possible image. I am putting together a booklet of stories about his life that my father wrote, and it has morphed into a whole family history document as well. So now I have another photo of Andrew to use for that. I can send/post one of him and Agnes later when they were older if anyone else would like it. My Grandpa Henry was the spitting image of his father, Andrew at similar ages. I'm in east-central Minnesota

I'm sure you must know that Ancestry bought Find A Grave. If you haven't seen in the left side Actions box:
Help with Find A Grave
Then in the first section last bullet that says:
What is Find A Grave's relationship with Ancestry?
Be sure to read it.
Hopefully the site will improve while maintaining it's original intent.
Happy farming - hope the crops dry so you can harvest. ~Terry

Steve Edquist who photos at Fort Snelling sent this to me. Would you mind helping? -
When you have time will you please add a token to a friend who passed away on Memorial Day? His daughter is taking it very hard and I think it may help when she sees the tokens and flowers.
His ID # is: 111241303
Thank you, Steve"
