Donald Robinson Hill
His memorial lists a Ruth Nitschke Campbell as his spouse. She does have presence at Florida Memorial Garden , but associated with another soul, probably her subsequent husband.(Colonel Robert J Campbell 1918-1989).

So wherever you got the info that Donald Robinson Hill was interred at Florida Memorial, they need to do a bit more research because he is not there under that name. Maybe the originator of the memorial, Hungrycoyote” (Member # 48940094) needs a touch.

RE: Rudolph H Nordlund
Hey,

I am having difficulty getting the picture to size right for the memorial page. If you click on the picture it will show up in the actual size. Any assistance you can offer will be greatly appreciated.

I purchased this photo from ebay and plan to donate it to either a local history museum or the National WW2 Museum.

Thanks!

Joe

Lt George Goddard and his crew #4429616
George and his crew have been remembered and honored by the Czech villagers for 70 years. Memorials have been dedicated at the crash site for their fallen airmen.

Their World War 2 story was chronicled in the book; "Miss Fortune's Last Mission" by William J. Boyce/John H. Torrison with John DeMers (Bright Sky Press)

www.missfortuneslastmission.com for more information, photos and videos.

I hope that you will add this information to their Find A Grave page. Bill, John, and some of the crew's families visit their grave on Memorial Day 2015. I would be happy to sent you a copy of our book. Thank you

1st Lt. Joseph Herick from Cuyahoga County, OH
You have certainly been busy with your virtual cemeteries ...

There is an interesting story on the internet about "The Last Voyage of the Amatsukaze", a Japanese destroyer which was attacked by US B25s on 5 April 1945. {see https://airwarworldwar2.wordpress.com/2016/01/22/the-last-voyage-of-the-amatsukaze/ ]

During the attack, 1st Lt Joseph Herick [Find-A-Grave #56765224] of the 500th Bombardment Squadron was killed when his plane was shot down.

I didn't see Lt Herick's name listed on your Ohio virtual cemetery. 'Thought I'd pass it along.
