Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am very interested in genealogy and especially cemeteries. I will be willing to take photos of any cemetery in & near Duluth, MN, Superior, WI and all of Douglas County, Wisconsin when I am there in the summers. In the winter I am in the Southeast Valley by Apache Junction, Arizona if you have any requests from that area. Feel free to use any of my photos I have taken of graves and share with others. It would be nice to get credit for the photo but it isn't necessary. I don't think this site should be a race to see how many people you can put on here. That is just my opinion. Thanks to all of you who volunteer and have helped me with my family searches. I will help you if I can!

If you look at memorial 72941351 I am not the submitter of the photo on this memorial. This person has submitted incorrect photos on memorials I have set up before. I will email her and request she remove the photo. Thank you for the heads up.

RE: Edward Pellerin/Joseph Pellerin
Janine:
Have a safe trip back to Wisconsin. I am so grateful you are willing to go and look for his headstone. i looked on the USGenweb, Douglas County Cemetery's site for this cemetery and it says it was walked in 2002 and all headstones were recorded and there's a list but it only has last names of ABC on the list and I'm sure there must have been headstones in that cemetery for other surnames that start with something besides A, B or C.I also wrote down the cemetery's phone # and will try and call this week and see if they can give me any info. I am so excited. I hope you are able to find him or at least find out from cemetery where he was buried? Let me know if there is something else I can do. I don't know much about how to find out this kind of info, this is all new to me.Thanks for being willing to transfer Edward to me, I appreciate it.
Thanks again,
Tootz

RE: Edward Pellerin
Janine:
I'm a little lost here. What I wanted to know is if you can find and photograph my grandfather Joseph Pellerin's grave/headstone in Superior, Wisconsin while your back in Wisconsin? I don't need you to go to Wakefield. Please re-read my message from yesterday and let me know, okay? As far as Edward Pellerin's memorial, if your not related to him and want to transfer his memorial to me that would be fine, I'd love to have him. How did you create his memorial, just from the obituary clipping from the newspaper that you have on the memorial, and if so where/how did you find this old obit clipping? I am a genealogy researcher and I am disabled and can't go to cemetery's. I have found some wonderful and amazing info about my ancestors on findagrave and am very grateful for this website and people like you who are willing to go and find these graves for people like me. I have never created a findagrave memorial and wouldn't even know how to go about it. Are you saying you may have the wrong info on where Edward is buried? If you transfer him to me I would like to know what I need to do to check on his info and correct it if it is necessary but I would need your help in what steps to take and who to contact etc. Please 1st let me know about finding/photographing my grandpa's grave in Superior, Wisconsin and then after that we can work on Edward, okay?
Thanks so much for all your help,
Tootz

Are you in Wisconsin now & able to take photo's at cemetery's?
Hi Janine:
I sent you a message on Nov. 9, 2014 because you created the memorial for my great uncle Edward Pellerin #97026640 and because you were able to take photo's in Wisconsin. At the time you were out here in AZ where I also live and couldn't. I just came across this again in my research and wondered if you are back east now would it be possible for you to try & find & photograph my grandpa's grave. He was Edward's nephew. His name was Joseph Clement Odinas Pellerin but he went by Joseph Pellerin. He died March 12, 1949 in Superior, Wisconsin and was buried at Calvary Cemetery in Superior, Wisconsin on March 14, 1949.I never got a chance to meet him as he died before I was even born. A cousin I found through my genealogy research just sent me a photo of him this week. This is the 1st photo of him I have ever seen. It would be wonderful if you could take a photo of his grave and headstone for me. If there are any other Pellerin's in that cemetery I would appreciate there photo's as well but just having his would be awesome. I hope I have caught you at the right time and you are in Wisconsin now and able to do this for me. I know it's certainly too hot to be out here in AZ right now. I look forward to hearing back from you.
Thanks,
Tootz
