I keep records for two cemeteries, the Decoria Cemetery, Blue Earth Co., MN [my home area; and the Red Oak Grove Cemetery, Cedar Co., IA [my current locale].

TRANSFERS: I am always happy to make any changes or corrections to a memorial I have created. I will make transfers [with the exception of the two above mentioned cemeteries] and only within the guidelines set up by Find A Grave.

"The ultimate goal should be to have meaningful, accurate memorials that honor those who have passed away, regardless of who created the memorial or who maintains it."

Due to the recent increase in abuses of transfer requests, I may not transfer to you if the number of memorials that you manage is similar or greater than the number that you have contributed.

Hi Lori,

Thank you so much for the great records you are keeping for all of us genealogists, but I really appreciate all the information you have down for my gr. gr. aunt and her husband. Would you please link Martha's mother to her site? We have no idea where her father is buried, but we suspect he's somewhere in Mankato. She is buried in Brainerd. Her # is 124477551. I know the researcher put her mother's name as Sarah Prentiss, but it's actually Sarah Jane Preston. Her father was Sylvanus Cottrell, (You many already have that info though). I really appreciate all the work you've done. Linda

I corrected her death date. Where is "Sites and Stones"? is it on the internet?

Just like a lot of old records it has been spelled both ways. I do not know which is correct. Geo

Hayes at Decoria
Thanks for looking. It was the family rumor that John & Anne Hayes spent the last years of their lives in Blue Earth County and were buried in Decoria. Guess I will have to do some more digging. Again thanks for your time.
