a better place.
All people deserve to be remembered. And feel free to use pictures I take in your family trees. "Who would hold hostage - under the pretense of copyright - the photo of a grave stone?"

Ahh. Now I know what your message is all about.
I've been searching for a Caroline Thompson for some time. Located the Death Certificate at the Historical Society in St. Paul. Entered into Find A Grave and requested a photo of the headstone looking for additional clues. Thank you for taking the photo.
It was nice to see other members of that family on the headstone from the photo YOU PROVIDED. Why didn't you add the additional members to Find A Grave when you posted the photo for Caroline ???
Figured you didn't care enough. So I created the additional records, linked the members, and slapped the Caroline headstone photo showing that showed names of the other members of the family. I determined I have no relationship with the Thompson family in Polk county.
I don't care for any credit. Just want to complete the records.
You want credit? Fine you add the photos and I'll delete the two photos I duplicated for the other family members.
How my turn to vent!
Putting on 1000's of miles big freaking deal! I've been up in MN from TEXAS the last 3/4 years taking photos in 4 different counties. Iowa too. Headstones I have no interest in. I got about 400 more from Germany in June/July I still have to add. Didn't need to take them all, but created many new cemeteries and add ALOT of records. Hope it might help other Americans looking for relatives someday.
I'll be in Norway next year for a few weeks and I assure you I'll come back with several hundred. How about I give them to you and you create the records, enter the photos, and take all the credit you want. I won't have a problem with that. All I ask is you make sure its correct and complete.
Would have been nice if you told me up front what this was all about rather than making me spend time searching and figuring it out your message.
On a positive note, I sincerely appreciate your work, consideration, and time for my photo request. Again thank you very much.
From a guy's point of view, I'm not much for sending out thank you replies for every request I have made for a photo... and I don't expect any back.
