I have been a genealogist and family history researcher for many years. I grew up near Albany, Minnesota. I spent my career in secondary education as a Library Media Specialist. I am working to enter memorials for many of my ancestors and family on Find A Grave so none of them will be forgotten.|

Hello, I had no idea who did all the work on this large family tree information. Glad to know, I thought it was from Fort Snelling. You can contact me at my email direct if you would like. Not public. Sincerely, Bev S.

Thank you for updating the Memorial for Wilbert Christen. My wife and I took photos of all the graves at Happy Homestead some time ago and entered them into Find-A-Grave. I am transferring Wilbert's Memorial to you as you have a better chance of providing more information.
Thanks again - John
Thanks for info.

The Immanuel book: is it the history that was printed 40 or so years ago?
I am also looking for more information on Pastor Johannes Von Brandt, who was my wife's great great grandfather. Apparently he was a colorful character. Also, any info on the first Lemkes in the area: Karl Wilhelm and his wife Fredericke Pesch Lemke, other than birth and death dates. Any other info on them? Place of birth, parents, etc?

Yes, Bielenberg. I recently found the rest of her Bielenberg family who didn't know where she went after she married Reinhold Jopp. Apparently, there was a big blow-up regarding inheritance and Reinhold pulled up stakes and brought Martha and their kids to Stearns Co. from Dakota Co., saying he "never wanted to see the smoke from [his family's] chimneys ever again". The other Bielenbergs were glad to hear of "lost" Martha and provided me with a wealth of details about the family, too.

I was reading the page for Paulina Groth #94477127. There is a note at the end stating there may be an error for her parents, and you are right. Her parents were Frederich (Fred) and Christina Schleicher.
I was also looking at the page for Frederich (Fred) Schleicher #100432380 and the date of death says Jul 11, 1931. It should be 1939. Also paragraph 3 says he was 81 yrs and 5 days at death and then at the end of the article it says he was 81 yrs and 8 days at death. Which would be a bit of a trick. I believe it really is 81 yrs and 7 days at death. Great site any how.

It must not warn you when you are linking using the edit function. I probably get one like that every couple of weeks when someone just gets the wrong number in the wrong place.

I am declining your edit for adding parents and spouse because you are making her her own spouse. Please correct the spouse and resubmit the edit.

Delphine, thank you for the obituary - feel free to add obits or pictures anytime to any of my memorials. I did edit his date of death as that was typo on my part. God Bless, SW
|Cashline||RE: Manford Fors|
I applied the changes you requested. Would you like me to transfer the management of that memorial to you? I have no connection with the Fors family.
