Most of the memorials I have posted are not kin to me. I would be happy to transfer 99% of them. Just ask nicely using the "edit" tab on the memorial you want transferred to you and don't forget to include your member ID number. Transfer requests that are not submitted using the edit tab or do not include a member ID# will be ignored. Likewise for requests for multiple people submitted as one message using the 'other changes' part of the edit menu. I am happy to do corrections/updates, but I am not going on a search for people in order to make those changes.|
BE ADVISED: I have found 7 instances where my copyrighted photos have been copied and uploaded by another as if they owned the copyright. I DO NOT TRANSFER COPYRIGHTS to any photos when I transfer memorials. I do, however, REPORT THE THIEF, for each and every occurrence. DO NOT STEAL.

|Sydney Ranney||RE: Lena Coster - correction|
Thank you for the information! Dirk & Lena were my 2nd great grandparents. Their son, John, was my great grandfather. Haven't found the records to determine when they came to America but find them in the 1870 census in Lacrosse, WI. John married in Caledonia, MN & left in 1882 for So. Dakota, Nebraska, & then MN. John was a saloon owner and wholesale liquor seller and I last found him & his family in the 1900 census, unemployed, and living in Minneapolis. His wife, Sofie and children went to Wenatchee, WA in 1902. I am guessing that Sofie divorced him as there is reference in family letters to him as late as 1906, but no one knew where he was. As to Lena - her original name was Orlena. I haven't been able to find out much about her and was thrilled to see your cemetery post. I'd love to know more about her marriage to Coster. I found Lena in the 1884 LaCross City Directory living with August & Silas. I suspect that she always stayed in that area. The Zwights were not very prolific either borning girls or having boys who died early or had no children. I know my first cousin once removed who lives in my area but he has no children so the line will die with him. Would love to have a copy of the obituary for Lena and anything else you can dig up on her. I am assuming you live in the area and have access to the public library there as well as the courthouse? I'd be more than happy to compensate you for anything you can dig up. Again, thank you! Sydney Ranney

Thank you so much for transferring Charles. I'm always inspired to dig into that part of my family. May I use your very nice photo of the marker on Ancestry? Will be delighted to give you proper credit.

Thank you for telling me I had Rachel (# 93023851) placed in the wrong cemetery, I only went by what the obituary said. Good thing you located the headstone! Would you mind placing a copy of the photo on her memorial? Thanks.
|Ingrid Rothenbuehler||Anna Larson|
Thank you so much for posting the picture of the gravestone of Anna. She was my great grandmother and I have several pictures of my father with her and several of his siblings and cousins from when he was a little boy. I have yet to visit the grave, but plan to do so this coming summer.
