1. Edits and other changes.
I am usually delighted to process your edits or suggested corrections. However I will neither do your data entry nor edit your spelling and punctuation. If information can be entered in specific fields, you will need to do that through the new edit system and I will accept or decline it. Other suggested changes such as biographies or obituaries or requests for transfers will be honored via the "Suggest any other correction or addition" which sends me an Email with a link to the page and to you. I might fact check your information through resources available to me.
2. Transfers
I will transfer any memorial I have created on request except those for
a. my own ancestors or in my virtual cemeteries.
b. Nor will I transfer to anyone who is listed as "Anonymous" and has a blank profile. It is difficult to trust someone who is so concealed.
c. Nor will I transfer to the terminally rude unless you document the four generation proximity of relationship required by the FAQ.
3. Photos
I give explicit permission to copy and use any photo I have taken and posted on Find a Grave for your own genealogical purposes. No need to ask.

I am a retired Episcopal priest who has done genealogical work for her own family since 1990. I used to serve as a Random Acts of Genealogical Kindness volunteer for Cottonwood County before that site closed. I'm still willing to do lookups. This is easy to do, as I live within a mile of the Courthouse and Historical Society. Or you can contact the Historical Society at cchs@windomnet.com. They charge $10. per hour plus copying for research.

I am nearly done doing whole small cemeteries in Cottonwood County, Minnesota. The five of us working on that have finished all but the three city cemeteries. If I have been able to post a photo on the front page of a cemetery in CC you will find my status notes in the caption. [Feb 2013] Working on Mountain Lake from photos & register and Lakeview from a list. I am also working on comprehensive postings for columbaria in Minnesota Episcopal churches.

My daughter thinks graving is a waste of time but I point out that it gets me out for a walk up and down "rows" in the cemetery. And a friend of hers pointed out that considering all the recent zombie movies it's good to remember this: It is far better to be looking for dead people than to have dead people looking for you! Enjoy!

Hi!
My name is Barbro Linde and I live in Sweden.
I am looking for relatives to Mrs Minnie Anton lived in St. James, Minnesota. Perhaps she died in the 1980s. She had children, Mae and Robert.

Minnie was an aunt to my mother Marghareta Svensson. Minne and her husband Ray visited Malmoe Sweden in 1960s and I met them there for some days.I am interested in finding relatives and children to her. Hoping to hear from you and I am most grateful Barbro Linde

RE: William Baker Fry in Lakeview, Windom MN
im going thru the minn. g.a.r. book. so far im up to H of surnames. im mostly doing the out of state enlistment, death entries, which are the hardest for descendants to find in minn.. www.parkbooks.com is still up and running. mary bakeman has a lot of civil war indexes & books etc.. on her website. not many genealogy stores left in u.s.. her website is mostly minnesota books.

the memorial birth place was corected. as long as the two civil war regiments are noted, the memorial is very good. i have been matching up the minnesota g.a.r. civil war deaths 1886 - 1906 book inf. with findagrave memorials. many memorials dont even mention them as being veterans.
