I DO NOT KNOW THESE PEOPLE! I am simply inputting the data in an effort to help other researchers. What is listed on the memorial is ALL the information I have. I check all enteries against the interments already listed for the particular cemetery to avoid duplicate memorials - HOWEVER, I have discovered that when I pull up FAG's internment lists they are not always complete so some duplicates may get entered. I look at the photo of the marker (when available) to see how the name is engraved. I have not been very successful contacting the original submitter asking for corrections. |
If you are looking for additional data I suggest you contact the county in which the burial took place or the nearest city which would have a library or historical society. A good website to try is www.USGENWEB.com or www.rootsweb.com.
I am willing to make corrections or additions to the memorial, or transfer the memorial to you, but you MUST send me the memorial number of the grave you want edited AND your FAG identification number. Thanks!
