Hi Wes!
I noticed there is a note on Mary's memorial that mentions that there is no marker for her grave. I have not been there in a long time, but unless there has been a stone added in the last ten years, there isn't a marker. Last time I was up there I could find only a handfull of markers - 1 Case, 4 Kilmers, 3 Raslers and 1 Wolfe. The cemetery itself is right on the west side of the road that is in the photo, fenced with posts and barbed wire, much the same as the pastureland surrounding it - if you love the sandhills, quite a nice view. I rolled my daughter's car on the way home from there - no real damage to me, but the car was totaled, I have a very vivid memory of that cemetery. (No, I was not driving too fast, but the pick-up I met at the top of the hill on a rather narrow, sandy road was - and he didn't even bother to stop, so I had quite a hike. Not complaining, really I am thankful I could make the hike, and it was a lovely day, but I haven't been back)
:-) A

RE: Libka Family
Wes,
I don't know who the Libka Family is. Are they also in the Greenwood Cemetery in Astoria?

That was the fastest headstone photo I've ever received, and I really appreciate it so much. I just found out where she was buried today, too. I will check my other Astoria headstones and see if I have more....Thanks so much, Wes!
