My husband and I are trying to locate this cemetery for which you posted photos of the old church blg and signage with the cemetery in the background. This is in Laurens County, SC. We have gone to the coordinates on Find A Grave, but don't see any open space or new growth trees in or near that location in case the blg and sign are now gone. Can you clarify where this cemetery might be found?

Thanks so much; I'll get her connected with the family shortly.

Thank you for the headstone photo of Samuel Branch. I visited Long Cane Cemetery last year on a genealogy pilgrimmage and looked ALL over for his headstone. I found Isaacs but not Samuel's. He was my great great great grandfather and I know he was murdered in 1840. If you ever get a chance to get back and get a clearer shot or can tell me WHERE his headstone is, I would love it. I am putting our Branch family history in a book for my nieces...

HI sorry for second reply, I asked a librarian to research the cemetary and this is her finding:
John's Creek Church is in Abbeville
on Klugh Road 1006 Old Greenwood Hwy 29646 (across the Greenwood county line)Rev Curtis Carter 864 229 2304 Im very interested in slave cemetaries and old stones before more information is lost forever. Wish I could be there....

This from a family member who saw the grave years ago:
Wow. Sounds interesting. I've never heard of a Jennifer Klugh. I don't know if John's Creek Baptist Church is still standing but it was within the last 10 years. A. P. and Nancy Klugh are buried somewhat close to the church building but the woods had overtaken some of the graveyard even then. (If only he had a photo)

I just wanted to drop you a little note to say thank you for all the grave photos you have added to my memorials in Upper Long Cane Cemetery. I really appreciate you doing this. Please let me know if there is ever anything I can do to help you with anything.

Thanks so much for the pics of the Bowies at Gilgal. I have a feeling if there are more buried there, they are related.
Thank you for the gravestone picture for Bettie Bryson. I really appreciate it.

Thank you so much for taking the photo of George Watt's grave marker. The photo provided valuable information to me for family genealogy research.
