Keeping the memory and information about our family members "alive" should be our goal.
Unless "we" make some major contribution in our lifetime, most of the information about us is known within our own family and after several generations the information fades and then it is gone!
Thanks to Find A Grave for allowing us to share this information with each other now, and for future generations to use in their genealogy research.
November 2001: Since this is Find-A-Grave and I am still alive, I wanted to leave a message for current and future readers about "my" grave location. I have just purchased space for my mortal remains in an older community mausoleum.
They started Old Mission Mausoleum in 1918 and completed it in 1954 with the addition of the fourth and final unit. The construction resulted in a total expenditure of more than one million dollars. I have researched the history of this structure and its builder of 36 years. The information along with photos can be viewed at this link.
Eternity and Me!
May 2007: I find it very hard to write something about myself, but since I am one of those persons who never made a major contribution to the world, I will leave a short review. I have been married to the same wonderful lady for 40 years. We have two great sons' Todd and Brett and one fabulous grandson, Tyler. My working life was spent with the Wichita Public School system (1965-1996), first as a secondary science teacher and then as a secondary building administrator. My wife and I now spend our time traveling, taking care of our grandson, and just enjoying our leisure time. Good luck in your research with your family history, and again thank you to Find-A-Grave for allowing contributions to this enterprise.
May 2009: I have just received word from the United States Department of the Interior, that my application to have the Old Mission Mausoleum placed on the National Register of Historic Places has been approved!
Last updated: June 2013, if this date is out of date by six months, just look for me here>> Future resting location.

 | Henry Wehrmann Sr Mr. Wehrmann Sr 2nd wife Sue is not shown on his profile Married 1933-1973. It appears that he only was married once to Winfred. Does this need correction. Thank you Frances rud-eye@sbcglobal.net | | | Shmilybrandon
 | Charles Baxter Thank you pointing our my error in that the birth year was after the death year. Just a case of fat fingers. I have made the change and thank you. | | | DAS

 | Oak Grove Cemetery Hello, I will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in Uniontown, PA tomorrow (May 5). I saw your note that you had wished for other family members to be located, as well. I will try my best to locate these headstones for you. Please let me know what other family members you would like me to look for.Added by DK on May 05, 2013 12:07 AM | | | | [View all messages...] |
