I am an amateur genealogist living in Indiana. I started researching in the 1990's.
I have been researching not only my own family lines, but also those of many of my in-laws and other close relatives. As such, I have studied nearly 50 different family lines, mostly in Indiana (especially Vigo, Orange, Lawrence and Martin Counties,) but also in Kentucky, Tennessee and Kansas.
I've done research and transcription work for a number of Indiana USGenWeb sites, and have been a transcriber for the USGenWeb Census Project for many years.
Additions or Corrections: I welcome additional information or corrections for my memorials.
Transfer of Ownership: There are certain memorials that have special meaning to me and therefore I would prefer to keep them. I am open to requests for all other memorials. Direct descendants are given preference, but if no descendants claim the memorial, I am willing to discuss transfer to more distant relatives or others with a special interest. Contact me if you are interested in one of my memorials.
Pictures: You may copy my pictures and use them in your personal genealogy research. I would appreciate getting credit for the pictures you use. Please do not use my pictures in any way that involves charging money, or share them with people who will use them in this manner. This permission extends only to pictures I have posted, not to pictures others have posted on my memorials.
memorial #13674654 You have listed as his siblings a total of 8. My research has found there to be 12 TOTAL (himself and 11 others) The ones omitted are: Annie Toliver 1845 (Deceased); Samuel Edward 1847-1928; William Toliver 1851 (Deceased)
Marraige date Greetings, on # 14806774 John H Knauer, there is a note that says he married Elizabeth Newgent on 12/21/1912. The date he married Elizabeth should be 5/7/1890, as it says on her page. He did marry Etta (about 1908) after Elizabeth. Thanks for your work on "findagrave" Chuck McCleery
"This is a duplicate memorial. #52129291, which I believe is also one of yours, is the same person. This is his military marker, the other is his grave stone. You might want to consider combining the two into one.
Thanks, Rob Lane"
The name on the other memorial is Thurman Jones. Are you confirming that John T. and Thurman are the same person? If they are, I will gladly combine them.
Been a while since we have talked! I hope you are well. thanks for all of your work on the census online!
I have been working on the Gresham/Grisham/Grissom in Washington, Martin, Orange Co IN. I saw on ancestry that you had listed Benjamin Case and Nancy Gresham Case. They are buried at Sulphur Creek Cem. Have you researched them? I would like to share.
