Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the many photos you were able to take for us and our family members!
Thank you Gray!

That was quick! ... and the two gravestones are in remarkably good condition for their age.
I made a mistake when I wrote to you yesterday. Mary Howell is in fact the daughter of Howell David Howell, not his cousin.
This branch of the family has been difficult to research as they sometimes reverted to the patronymic system. In the last census before leaving Wales and also in the passenger list on emigration they use the surname Davies (from Howell David Howell's middle name). They then go back to using Howell on settling in New York State. Complicated!!!
Thanks a million - I had practically given up on getting these images.

Thanks for replying so quickly.
I will be more than happy to translate any inscriptions that you come across in Welsh in your local cemeteries.
It will probably be easier if you sent these to my e-mail address which is: email@example.com
With best wishes

Thank you so much for posting the image of Howell David Howell's gravestone. He was born in the village of Llanuwchllyn in Meirionethshire and emigrated to America c.1852 with eight of his children. I am related to this family although not particularly closely.
Two other Howells are also buried in the same cemetery, his mother Jane and a cousin Mary. I have requested images for these two but it is quite possible that there are no headstones of course.
Find a Grave is a fantastic resource for family historians in Wales. We have reason to be very grateful for the voluntary contribution of volunteers like yourself.

Thank you for the pictures of my grandparents and family's stones in Carr. I was there planing flowers in the spring but forgot to take pictures! Bless you.

Thank you for adding plots!

Thank you sooooo very much for this. My family history is starting to unfold for me and its because of volunteers like yourself. Hopefully this will now help others on ancestry who will not get to see his grave. I also realized that the date I thought was the death date being the 1st was really the 12th. Thanks. Diane Whitney

Thank you for taking the time to get a photo of Mercy Corbin's tombstone. Did you happen to take a photo of the full stone? Also, did you transcribe what is written? I can not read it in the photo.

Thank you so much for this photo for John Kenyon's headstone. While it is nearly illegible, you can still clearly make out the Kenyon. A lot of people would have missed this stone entirely.
