I am a wife and mother of 4 with very little free time. The free time I do have is almost always spent doing my genealogy research. I started my family tree as a high school project, it just grew from there. |
I only recently started visiting and photographing the cemeteries in my area when I found out that my husbands ancestors were so plentiful here. My husband is my driver when I visit the cemeteries (he says I make him go, but he enjoys it too) . And now my youngest daughters, twins age 13, have started helping as well.
My ancestors are mainly from Europe and Canada, but my husband's line will keep me visiting the cemeteries here in Northern New Jersey for years to come !!
I would love to help anyone with ancestors in the area (Bergen & Passaic County, New Jersey) as much as I possibly can...just let me know

Hello Mariea, Regarding the above child, I am aware of a small bit of background information about her which I'd like to contribute toward her memorial.
Susan Lynn Hoffman was the "adopted" child of Wilton Christian Hoffman, F. A. G. Memorial No. 31383754. Wilton was my mother's first cousin, and I am his first cousin once removed.
Susan was the daughter of one of Wilton's wives. Wilton and this woman were subsequently married and he adopted Susan, thereby giving her his surname. With a little research through my personal family genealogical records I can provide you with the name of Susan's birth mother for Susan's memorial. Just let me know. Thank you. Richard A. L. Ziers, a Find A Grave member.

Either way thank you so much for you have given me somewhere to start. It may just be a picture to some but to me it is way more. See without that picture I wouldn't have even know he was buried there. I appreciate your help. Sincerely, Angie

of your favorite grave photos.
I manage most of the Flemington Presbyterian Church Cemetery memorials You were looking for Ann Cherry. I kinda doubt we'll find it. She'd be near Enoch's grave at the end of the cemetery. There's not much down there and that's the more vulnerable part of the cemetery when it comes to vandalism. If the headstone turns up we'll be sure to post it.

They did not tell me of anyone else interred at that site but if you call the office, they may share that data with you (considering you now know the exact grave site: Section 3, Row D, Plot 17).
