People have been submitted by spreadsheets over the years. Attempts have been made to eliminate living people and duplicates. If you believe a living person is included, you should submit proof to me via findagrave correction. Just because there is no date on a headstone does not mean someone is alive.|
Google and other searches do not prove someone is alive, I can google many people in my tree that google would show to be well over 100 years old that I know in fact are dead.
Do not ask me to transfer if you are not related it will not happen!!!
You must love it when another volunteer on this site tries to get you in trouble for things when they violate FAGR rules everyday
Yes, I know there is an edit button no kidding. I will get to it as I can. Fortunately, I do not live on this site.
While I have thousands of memorials at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Rochester. They are all added based on the actual records in the office. In many cases these records only listed people as Mr. Ms, Miss. exc... I choose to leave these records as they are unless someone has added a headstone and the dates match the cemetery index I have in my posession.
Unfortunately I used to change them as unknown but I have learned over time people assume they are there family when in fact they are not and the dates do not match at all per the records of the cemetery.
Because of this reason it takes me some time to vent the record changes at this particular cemetery because I look each and every record up as time allows to ensure the accuracy.
My main lines of interest are

|Sarah Campbell||Lane family|
I am related to the Lane family and know my information is accurate. Please send your email address to me at firstname.lastname@example.org and I will be happy to send you proof that my information is accurate.
Daryl, I am thrilled to see how much you have done re my husband's family. I have been focusing on mine so have not had the time to research his. However, I have begun and have many pages of your material.
my husband is Michael Patrick Chamberlain Carns.
you can find him on military bios.
His mother is Jeannette Chamberlain (Carns) wife of Hugh John Carns.
Michael's grandfather was Corydon Samuel Chamberlain. I see they go back to Ninian.
Because of your research, I have incredible photos and interesting information to pass on to our military daughter, Michelle Chamberlain Carns (Jolley) and her son.
We have a son in the military, as well and the information will saved for him and his son.. Thank you so much.
Please feel free to be in touch with me:
email@example.com (We work for the Department of Defense and I believe you can find my picture and a bio.)

I have a Lemuel Hatch with the same dates as this Samuel Hatch....Lemuel dies in Rochester, Monroe Co., New York. Is it possible that this stone is hard to transcribe and this could actually be Lemuel Hatch and not Samuel?
I see you have this woman listed in Mt. Hope.
I am wondering if there is anyway to find out how old she was.
I am looking for a woman born about 1806,
If this is the same she may be my GGG Grandmother

|108th Regiment NY Volunteer Infantry||Lloyd G.Billings|
Hello Mr. VerStreate, I am doing research on the 108th Regiment NY Volunteer Infantry, a Civil War unit from Rochester, NY. There is a Lloyd Billings who was a Private in Company A of the 108th NYVI. The regimental history states he was buried in Mount Hope Cemetery here in Rochester, NY.
In 2009, you posted the page in Find A Grave for a Lloyd G. Billings in which you state Lloyd is buried in the Mount Hope Cemetery located in Fordbush, Montgomery County, NY. On your FAGR profile page you mention you have thousands of memorials at Mount Hope Cemetery in Rochester. Is Fordbush, Montgomery County, NY the correct city and county for his burial location or should it actually be the Mount Hope Cemetery in Rochester?
Thank you and looking forward to your reply.
Sorry it took me so long to grab that grave pic of Bert Belcher!! I also grabbed one of a Hattie Belcher Warren that was close by. Not sure if they are related but I would think since it's such a small cemetery? Let me know if you'd like it.

I noticed your name from photos you took of the cemetery. Not that you are necessarily related to these people (there is a different spelling of the surname), but, in case you are, I figured I'd let you know that I just added Edmond, Emma, and Frederick Vanstreate. There is also an Evelyn Henry who is buried near them with a birth year of 1912 which could match up to this family as there was a daughter in the censuses with that first name who was born around that time.
|Mary(Coggin)Russell||Emily A. Chipman|
I have a old 1850 Book of obituaries of children and she is in it. I would like to add this info to her memorial and I will provide a source also. I can email you a scan or I can type it out and you can copy and paste it. I hope you will see this is a gold nugget to add
