RE: Arnold Cross
Randy, there has been confusion over this family for two reasons. 1. The 1940 census is somewhat misleading. It lists Arnold in Illus and Bettie's household as Arnold Hood, but is called a son. 2. The information I received from Dewey Strickler said that Clarence Hood and Arnold were brothers.

I am not personally closely related to these families and this information is all I have to go on. I have seen many obituaries that give incorrect information on list adoptive parents as parents. I do not know that this is the case in this instance. However if you have knowledge of this family and can assure me that Arnold was by birth a Cross, I will be certain to adjust my notes in accordance. In the mean time I will delete my flowers. Buck

Thomas Pickerel # 6150247
Randy;
You kindly helped me in the past in transfering Samuel JR Pickerill # 6155675 in Liberty Cemetetry, Brown County, Ohio, posted by Marcella Headrick.
Would you mind if I request a transfer for his son Thomas Pickerill that Marcella had posted as Thomas Pickerel # 6150247 also if you would not mind, Samuel's brother Henry Pickerill/Pickerel #6155518
Samuel JR and Henry married sisters, Mary and Rebecca Lowe, daughters of Henry Stonestreet Lowe and Ann Tolson Lindsey of Prince George Parish, Maryland.
I am working on linking all of the documented children of Samuel SR Pickerill and their descendants.
Thank you very much.

Billie J. Hammer
Randy, first let me say that I appreciate all your help and hard work on Sandi Gorin's board. Second, would you consider transferring the memorial of Billie J. Hammer, # 14857006, to me? Elizabeth is and Billie was a dear personal friend and I have some things to add. Thanks either way. My Find A Grave number is 46631655. Thanks! Sincerely, Joyce

Thank you very much getting a copy of the headstone photo for us. It helped to clarify which cemetery he is in and his correct birthdate

Re: Job/Jobe family
Hi! I think I am a descendant of:

Andrew Job Jr
My 8th great grandfather.
Birth 1650 in England Portsmouth, Kent, England (on board ship to America)
Death 5 June 1722 in Chester, Pennsylvania.

And this is the lineage I want to prove:

His son:
Joshua Job
My 7th great grandfather.
Birth 2 Mar 1706 in Chester, Pennsylvania.
Death 1772 in , Shenandoah, Virginia.

His son:
Enoch Job Sr.
My 6th great grandfather
Birth 1734 in Nottingham, Chester, Pennsylvania.
Death 6 Jun 1797 in Dunmore, Virginia, United States

His son:
Enoch Jobe Jr. (Rev. War)
My 5th great grandfather
Birth 1757 in Old Dunmore, Virginia
Death 19 Apr 1843 in Walker, Cole, Missouri, United States

His daughter:
Hannah Jobe.
My 4th great grandmother.
Birth 1781 in Shenandoah, Virginia, United States.
Death 1860 in Van Buren, Tennessee, United States.

Her son:
Oliver Logue
Your 3rd great grandfather.
Birth 17 Jan 1803 in Barren County, Kentucky, USA
Death 27 May 1874 in Cass, Illinois, USA

His daughter:
Mary Arminda (Armanda) Logue
My 2nd great grandmother
Birth 4 October 1826 in Warren, Tennessee, United States
Death 14 Oct. 1914 in Cass, Illinois, United States

Her daughter:
Martha Frances Wyatt
My great grandmother
Birth 21 April 1848 in Newmansville, , Illinois, USA
Death 10 January, 1922 in Virginia, Cass, Illinois, United States.

If you would have any info to help me confirm connections from Andrew Job down through Hannah Jobe, I would greatly appreciate it, I am trying to prove my descent from Enoch Jobe II for DAR purposes. I am already a member and am working on other patriots.

Thank you for your time!!

Does anyone know who here husband was? Her seven children are listed, but I see not mention of her spouse.

Thank you,
