I have been researching my family history since 1995. I love this stuff. It is super exciting to uncover a nugget of information that you didn't know about before.
I live in the Detroit area and in my spare time (hehe) travel to some cemeteries where I have ancestors. On those occasions I try to be prepared to take pictures of some graves of interest, but it is most helpful if you have plot information and even a map, as most of my trips happen on weekends when offices are closed. Any of the pictures or other information that I have posted to findagrave.com can be used by anyone for whatever NON-PROFIT purpose they would like. NO PHOTOS OR INFORMATION MAY BE USED FOR PROFIT PURPOSE. I would appreciate recognition for any information or photos you do use, and if possible, a link or copy of the work.
I am working on documenting and photographing all of the Veteran's stones at Roseland Park Cemetery in Berkley, MI.
I am focusing my current research on the Lintz lineage. I would appreciate ANY and ALL Lintz memorials that you wouldn't mind transferring to me so I can work on a complete lineage. There are many assumptions that all Lintz's in the US are related. I'd like to prove/disprove this. It will also be useful for a 2nd edition book project I'd like to work on. | |

I'm afraid I don't agree with your sugested corrections.
Sarah my great grandmother died at her home in Brown City, Sanilac County. She didnot die in Almont, Lapeer County. Her daughter Matilda Anne Powell did June 9, 1919. Maybe that's where the confusion is.
Thomas Brown is my great-grandfather his son Delbert was my grandfather. From the information and sources I have collected I beleive the date on Thomas's headstone is correct. According to England Births and Christings 1538 - 1975 Thomas was baptize on 5 Jul 1840. Thomas came to this country before his wife Sarah he arrived in 1871 or 1872 Sarah arrive later with their three children.

Birth 03 Aug 1793 in Canada
Death 21 Apr 1872 in North Branch, Lapeer, Michigan, USA
The DOB is calculated by the DOD and 78 8 18.
Daughter of Nathaniel. But I have the following on Nathaniel.
Nathaniel Deo
Birth 1793 in New York, United States
Death 1840 in New Sarum, 1654296, Ontario, Canada
The DOB dates would make them brother and sister.
