I began doing genealogy in 2001 when a distant cousin began asking questions to help with his research. Since that time, I have been hooked. Nearly all my ancestors were living in Chariton County, Missouri by the mid-1800's. Naturally, I have a fondness for visiting cemeteries in this area. Surnames in which I am interested include: Howard, Sallee, Johnson, Smith, Jones, Marcum, Stephens, Edmonston, Moxley, McCollum, Marshall, Bennett, Coleman, Clarkson, Welch, McKenzie/McKinzie, Baldridge, Behem and Hildenbrand.|

PLEASE REFRAIN FROM ADDING DEATH CERTIFICATES TO THE MEMORIALS I HAVE CREATED! As another contributor put it, "They look tacky!" Thanks.
12/9/14- The vast majority I've dealt with on Find A Grave are kind, respectful people who realize this is a voluntary effort. Working together makes this an enjoyable hobby. For the few who choose to be demanding, critical and condescending, just remember you get back what you give out.

My husbands grandmother and his his daughter are named Emily after her. Still waiting for a headstone pic. Especially since you left this note on the memorial you made for her. Did you just read it ?? or did you take a photo of the headstone?
Note: Stone inscription reads Emily Wheeler
Would love to see it.

I see where you entered a new memorial for Samuel Finnell ?? not sure where you got your information from is a memorial with headstone pic he died in 1875. Thought you might want to recheck info on him. Samuel's mother died a month after he was born. Ann Wheeler Finnell wife of Jasper Newton Finnell.

Still working this collateral lineage... Mary Lake, do not know for certain her actual burial location, as well as her sons Amos & Stilwell and her daughter Catherine. The 2 brothers came to New York and Catherine move to her brother Stilwell's after her mother died. We think where they are buried they had no headstones, as none of them were married. A little more digging needs to be done.

Thank you for alerting me to the dupe. I have deleted my memorial and linked his wife to the originally created memorial. Regards - Tammy

You're fine Annita, I just wanted to add the pictures. Thank you though!
By the way - I really appreciate you adding them. I would hover have found them without you! My grandmother was a Danneman from that area.
