|I enjoy perusing The Gospel Messenger (first published in 1883) and other old publications of the Brethren Church. I often find interesting obituaries in these publications and enjoy sharing them with the Find a Grave community.|
Surnames I am researching include Brubaker, Boyd, Wheeler, Garrett, Sullivan, Mobley, White, McGinnis, Duncan, Crump, Christie, Barnhart, Grisso, Flora/Flory, and Eller.

Sorry for the very late reply on your request. Due to lack of time and so many requests it is hard to complete them all in a timely basis. Also I have been off line for a very, very long time.
Thank you for the obituary for Senora Weidman. I have added it to her memorial along with some other information and photos.

|Brian Elston||Mary A Landis Obituary|
In Mary's Obituary, you have at the bottom "J.H. Neher". Why would his name appear with the obit? Editor, writer? He was an uncle so I was curious.
|Angie H||Diana Coy Obit|
Thank you for the obit. It has been uploaded to the memorial.

Hi Rebecca, I sent you an email regarding Mary Fonda and Rufus Beckner. If you don't see it please check your junk folder. Thanks!
|David||RE: Ellen King Riffey photo request|
That pretty normal with a middle name like King. I just got lucky finding the obit reference. Just wish we could get the obit itself, it would probably give us the parents' names.

|David||Ellen King Riffey photo request|
I wanted to let you know that there is no marker for Ellen. I saw your note on the memorial about more information, so I went looking. According to the jocohistory.org site, she died 20 Dec 1937 as an infant, so its likely that King was her middle name. Considering where she is buried, she may be the daughter of Alma and Jessie Riffey (but she would have been a late-in-life baby for them). There is an obit for her from the Johnson County Democrat newspaper, but the Johnson County library is undergoing renovation until next year, and the microfilm collection at that library is unavailable until early 2016.
