Metcalf cemetery
A grain farmer shoved all the stones down into a ravine just south of the cemetery, so sad. Someone needs to dig them out and place them where they belong. The owner says he knows nothing about this. Linda Clemmons is trying to get a fence around the small plat.

WILLIAM MAY - POTTINGER'S STATION
I am researching William May who was at Pottinger's Station. My g.g.grandmother Louisa MAY Masterson married: Charles Masterson, 1840 in Spencer County, Indiana. Charles can't be found in the U.S 1850 Census. Louisa MAY Masterson married George R. Mayo in Gibson County, Indiana and they are in the U.S 1860 Census. Prior to 1870 George R. Mayo died. Louisa is recorded as Louisa Mayo as a widow having Mayo children. I have been unable to locate Louisa after the 1870 U. S. Census...Warrick County Indiana (Anderson Twp.-Yankeetown). I have no documentation about the parents, or siblings of Louisa MAY prior to her marriage to Charles Masterson. It is speculated that Louisa is the daughter of William May of Pottinger's Sta. All help to document, information on William May's parents, siblings, wives, and children is greatly appreciated.

RE: Pottinger
Much appreciated. I have done extensive Baldwin research in Prince George's County Maryland. I've got some loose ends I believe might tie into James Baldwin and Elizabeth Pottinger. I live in Maryland so it's difficult to research out of state. I would like to find their dath dates, locations, wills etc. I need to know who their children were. I believe I have corresponded with Tom in the past, thanks!

Hello, looking for information on Elizabeth Pottinger (b 1720 in Maryland). She married James Baldwin around 1740. They left Maryland and I am assuming the went to KY. Thanks, Sue

POTTINGER
Just a note to touch base. My parents were friends of Lewis Talbot POTTINGER and wife, in Orlando, Orange Co., Fla. in the 1950s and 1960s. I believe my mother, thru her LYLES line of Maryland, was probably a very distant cousin of his. I found your POTTINGER info on Find A Grave most interesting.
Warmly,

RE: Pottinger Transfers
You are most welcome. If I have anymore of your family please let me know and I will be glad to transfer them to you. I believe that family should be with family regardless of how far removed they are.
