I grew up in the northeast part of Dallas, Texas, in the Lake Highlands area. |
Now I live in the Colorado mountains in the remote Town of Alpine, Colorado, Pop. 12, just 16 miles westsouthwest of Buena Vista, Colorado with my wife Pat. The winters are long here at 9,300 feet, perfect for ancestry.com and Find-a-Grave work.
My family names include Lockett, Nash, Roberts, Bunn, Gilliland/Gililland, Stokes, Williams, Roberts and many, many more.
You have my permission to use any photos I have on Find A Grave for personal use.
If you find a memorial I manage and it is your family, or the person is a closer relative than I am, please contact me and I will be happy to transfer the management of the memorial to you.
It is a pleasure to match family with family.

Wondering if you have any information about the Litchfields. James Litchfield's mother was Mary Jane Thorne Litchfield Altman. She married my mother's great-great grandfather, Nathan Altman. Her memorial number is 43849917. James had a brother named John Thomas Litchfield.
Sorry....I found Clints daughters memorial # 103107132. It does have a recent obit that list her childrens names. Ill bet if you contacted them they know where their Grandparents are buried...Im thinking it's probably in Clovis. They have 2 main cemeteries both list phone numbers, they will tell you if he is buried there.

You did a good job on his bio, Ya these Texas DC's are something sometimes, Until they became mandatory to fill out I think most were guessed at! I sent you a couple of emails with some links, I found some info on the Lockett Community and the Locketts that lived there, a transcription of this cemetery and it has Aubrey lee listed and best of all I found obits for Jetter, his 2nd wife Blanche and then one for Clifford # 41532667 (who still is not linked) but I just added it to his memorial. Keep up the good work, your memorials look great!

I transferred and found some more children through the 1930 census, I requested they be linked...
Lester L. # 20026611
Clifford # 41532667
Carrabel # 44763935
I can't find these two-
Clinton E. 1908
James B. 1928

I stumbled across a death certificate for one of their infant children. I couldn't find a memorial for him so I made him one. Did you know there is a Lockett Cemetery in Wilbarger Co.? Strange there wasn't any Lockett names in there (until now, per DC) I bet they have more relatives in there...Anyways since you are related I thought I woud let you know, if you want me to transfer the memorial I will.
someone just emailed me info on a Thomas Lockett buried in Williams Az--noticed his parents name in the bio--if this person is a relation, I would be happy to transfer maintenace to you (6715140)
|Aaron Roe||Possibly William Richard Lockett's wife?|
Would you know if Susan Alice "Allie" Roe Lockett (#119199271) is William Richard Lockett's(#33173432)first wife? Allie Roe Lockett is buried in Fall Creek Cemetery, Hood County. She was born in 1887 and died in 1908. I have been unable to locate any information on her marriage or death. However, I did find that the 1910 census showed a Richard Lockett in Cleburne was listed as widowed. Her family also resided in Cleburne. Her father, Aaron Tilman Roe, is my great-great grandfather.

Changed birth year to 1868 with notation that the year is incorrect.
I linked her to her parents as well. Thanks so much for all your help with my memorials in your line, I do not mean to sound "nit picky", just want memorials as correct as possible.

Mike, that is what keeps me going. I love for family to take care of their family. You are doing great, the ancestors would be proud of you and the work you are doing. If you see any more just request a transfer. Family should be with family.
