I have been researching the families of my wife and mine for about thirty years. It is great to learn about family and their migrations. |
If anyone finds mistakes on my entries or would like to add information, please contact me. I have been going to cemeteries in my area and have been entering photos and info so many of my entries aren't family. It is always great to meet new family and friends.
Barton/Lambert/Goforth/Schooley/White/Miller/ Dunn/Massie/Eggers research is in IL, IA, IN, KY, ENG, MA, DE.
My wife's family
Gibson/McCandless/Turner/Dunn/Ramsey/Brammer/McCully/Wilson genealogy research is in MO, TN, PA, IN.
My wife and I have four children and nine grandchildren which makes our life very enjoyable and now we are blessed with six great grandchildren. Besides searching for our family, I enjoy wood carving.
The Good Lord has blessed me in many ways!
Remember, "No one is truly gone, until they are forgotten".
With the memorials I have set up, if you find any mistakes, please let me know so I can get them corrected. I'm not perfect, but I strive for perfection in all that I try to do on Find A Grave.
When requesting links, please give me the name of the person plus the ID number. This insures I link the correct person, mother, father or spouse.
On ADDITIONS, CORRECTIONS, LINKS or TRANSFERS for any Memorial, PLEASE USE THE EDIT BUTTON and Suggest A Correction or provide additional information. Any of the above posted on my message board will be ignored and deleted.
IN OTHER WORDS, SEND A SAC! Please, no bulk transfer requests!
I will be happy to transfer to a relative if it is within the Find A Grave guidelines, otherwise it will be at my discretion. Please state your relationship of the memorial you want transferred. Just saying they are family is not acceptable.
We want the memorials of those we loved to be as nice as possible.

I just updated information on his memorial that was given to me by another contributor. If you'd kindly delete yours, I'm sure you will find the updated memorial very helpful. Thank you for bringing this to my attention.

|Aimee Katherine Adamson||Transfer of Memorial #48087102|
Dear Mr. Barton:
My name is Aimee Adamson. I am a great grandniece of Lilian May Metheney. My father, Robert Neal Adamson, is a grand nephew of May Metheney. My grandfather Dean Allen Adamson is a nephew of Mrs. Metheney, and my grandfather's mother, Lena (Weaver) Adamson is a sister of Mrs. Metheney.
Therefore, would you be so kind as to transfer Mrs. Metheney's memorial (48087102) to me?
My father not only has her death certificate but also the Weaver family history written by Amy (Hanks) Turner, and I would like to use all our information plus several pictures.
Thanks so much,
aimee Katherine adamson

Thanks Leon. Perhaps he died after 2008. I'm still looking.

Leon, Thanks for the updates...
Once Marla updates his dad's memorial this branch will be linked up 3 more generations back. I'm sure I'll know more later as I talked to one of this man's daughters who lives in Ingalls, KS. The next time I'm out that way she said to stop by. So hopefully then I'll have his middle name known for sure and perhaps a bio.

Thanks very much Leon. More to follow.

Yes, you do, by just a few years, but we are both still spring chickens. Just celebrated my Dad's 92nd . . . off to a wine tasting, helps to cure the aches. LOL
