I currently live in Washington State. |
My ancestors lived in Avoyelles Parish, Louisiana from about 1760 to 1930 when my parents moved to Baton Rouge. My mother was born in Marksville and my father in Bordelonville. Several generations of my ancestors are buried at St. Joseph in Marksville and at St. Peter in Bordelonville as well as other cemeteries in the Parish.

I believe we have met when I was staying with Oncle Anthony Bordelon in Ark when he owned the stores in Conway and Pinebluff. I may be wrong. It could have been Gerald my cousin. I am researching the history of my Mother who died when I was born along with my twin sister Janet. I have many photos of the family given to me by and through my Sister Arlene Patricia Kennedy who I buried a few years ago here in Rhode Island. The photos, cooking book, etc are from our side of the family in the Garden District, Hessimier, etc of my great grand parents, grand parents (the Decote family too). I hope to hear from you. I am living in East Greenwich, RI for now, my birth place.

Thank you for creating the memorial. He's my grandfather.
I keep coming across your name while researching the Saucier/Gremillion line and would like to mention what great work you have done. This is also my husbands family and I thought maybe we could make a connection.
Lewis Ferdnand Saucier and Sodonia (Bordelon) Saucier are my husbands GG Grandparents.
His G Grandparents are:
Louis Soult Gremillion and Albertine (Saucier)Gremillion.
His Grandparents are:
John Joseph Burgau and Adela Marie (Gremillion) Burgeau.
If I can help you with anything just let me know.

I received your notice about corrections to the present links. I did not make them someone made them using the "edit" button. If you would like to make the corrections just use the edit button and put in the correct memorial numbers. Sorry I am short on time (if interested about why see my profile page) and cannot make all these fixes. I appreciate your helping out.
Thanks so much
