I was born and raised in the oil fields of the Texas Panhandle, and since we did not live near either my father's or mother's family, I grew up thinking we had a very small family. After I retired, I started tracing my father's family, which, except for his immediate family, I knew very little about. I thought this would be a simple project, however, it turned into a huge project that both my husband and I love pursuing, and it keeps growing.
As we travel, we stop at any cemetery we are near (and sometimes not so near) where we know there are family members and photograph their graves and those of others who might be related (or not). All of these are added to Find A Grave to share with others.
Please feel free to use the photos I have posted on any Find A Grave memorial, BUT please give credit to my husband by showing "photo by Bill Lewis". We take them to share with others but ask that you be courteous about their use.
If you would like a memorial transferred, please ask, and if you are more closely related or it is someone that is not our family, I will be happy to transfer it.
Please DO NOT add death certificates to the memorials I have created. This is not the place for death certificates - it is a place to honor the lives of those who have gone before us.
Also, please DO NOT add obituaries, family history, or documents in the photo section. E-mail them to me and I will add them to the bio section.

You're very welcome.

That is no problem... If you need a full size photo just let me know and I will send one to you.
|Grave_Walker||RE: James Henry Alkire edit request|
Thanks for your information. I will add the links to his parents. As for Frankie June Lane Alkire, she was already linked as his spouse so if I accept the edit request you sent it will remove her. It will show up as "DECLINED" but the links you requested are there.
Thanks again for your additional information on him. I always invite anyone to add to the memorials to help other family members find their loved ones and help in their research.
|Grave_Walker||James Henry Alkire edit request|
I received an edit request from you to link, James Henry Alkire # 117010951 to parents: John Davis Alkire, Jr. # 145377801 and Frances Simon Alkire # 44971451. And remove Frankie L Alkire l# 105296745 as spouse (which I am not sure who sent that edit request to add her as his spouse). That is one reason I am not a fan of the new edit system and now I ask for ones source of information so I can verify it before I make changes and or additions.
I have to question this edit request due to the age of John Davis Alkire, Jr. who was born in 1866 which would make him age 61 when James Henry Alkire was born. Also, why you requested to unlink Frankie L Alkire as his spouse. Are you a family member to all the above? I will wait to hear from you before making any changes to the memorials.
