Hello, My name is Teresa (Keith) Coale. I am the daughter of Alden L. and Alma L. (Eslinger) Keith. My father is the son of Herman F. and Edna N. (Dralenats) Keith my mother is the daughter of Clyde P. and Gertrude E. (Reynolds) Eslinger. |
I live in El Dorado Springs, Cedar Co. MO and I am here to find information on my family my Dad's side Keith, Draelants, Ellerman, my Mom's side Eslinger, Reynolds and Hochstedler. I am also doing genealogy for my kids on the Coale, Cargill, Burris and Scales.
I will also help people find information they are looking for. Right now I am working on listing all cemeteries in Cedar Co Missouri. Feel free to email me if you have information to give or if you would like for me to find information for you, and if you see I have made an error please let me know so it can be corrected. I am working from a Cedar Co. Cemetery Directory but still there might be mistakes or typing errors.
Please when suggesting a correction REMEMBER YOU ARE NOT THE FIND A GRAVE POLICE, But when suggesting a correction or addition to a certain memorial go to the memorial you are talking about then go to the (EDIT) button on the memorial you are referring too. Then if it is something like a birth/death date/place, link to spouse/parents, Name, etc. click on the link for that, when suggesting for something to go into the bio click the (SAC) line. PLEASE this sends a link so all we have to do is click and go straight to the memorial. When sending it other ways you have to click on several links to get to where you want us to go for the correction/update. This is getting really bothersome when I have so many to do a day. This is not the place for corrections/updates. I also will not update if I can not contact you to find out where you got your info if I need to ask questions. I like to verify my corrections before accepting them. If you send me a date update by the SAC link it will be deleted and not updated.
I do transfer memorials if your related. I think it is really sad that people are here just for numbers, what does that accomplish. I do not really care how your related as long as the memorial goes to a family member. I do not transfer memorials just because you like to collect them because they are ministers, railroader, or any other people you like to collect, that is not fair to the family members if they want the memorials. Please let me know how your related, and do not just put that they are in your family tree.
I also do not transfer to someone so they can update then they say they will transfer back to me. If you want to type it up I can always copy and paste it in myself. Thanks for the offer but I am a big girl and I know how.
Something I got in an email I thought was funny.
As a bagpiper, I play many gigs. Recently I was asked by a funeral director to play at a grave side service for a homeless man. He had no family or friends, so the service was to be at a pauper's cemetery in the Kentucky back-country.
As I was not familiar with the backwoods, I got lost; and being me, I didn't stop for directions. I finally arrived an hour late and saw the funeral guy had evidently gone and the hearse was nowhere in sight.
There were only the diggers and crew left and they were eating lunch. I felt badly and apologized to the men for being late. I went to the side of the grave and looked down and the vault lid was already in place. I didn't know what else to do, so I started to play.
The workers put down their lunches and began to gather around. I played out my heart and soul for this man with no family and friends. I played like I've never played before for this homeless man.
And as I played 'Amazing Grace,' the workers began to weep. They wept, I wept, we all wept together. When I finished I packed up my bagpipes and started for my car. Though my head hung low my heart was full.
As I was opening the door to my car, I heard one of the workers say, "I never seen nothin' like that before and I've been putting in septic tanks
for twenty years."
Why can't people just ask for directions?

Thank you for your transfers and edits......
I was wondering if you know where Elizabeth Jo Root Moyer is buried at. She died May 15, 2014 in El Dorado Springs. Most of her side of the family is in the El Dorado Springs Cemetery. If you don't find her or put her on find a grave. I will be up that way in early spring. Thanks Clesa

Yes I am related. Rebecca Kuykendall Roberts Bailey was my 2nd great Aunt, thus her daughters, Bertha and Ada are my 1st cousins 2x removed. Rebecca's father, Alfred Kuykendall, was my 2nd great grandfather.

He used Jr on his marriage form in Indiana. We just assumed his father had the same name but that he went by Gabriel.
I've been searching for more. I've found all sorts of names for John Jr's middle name, too.
It doesn't have to be put on the memorial. It's just another enigma about him.

It was a piece of cake to find with your map. I took my tablet with me up there with your map on it and walked right to it. We were along ways from it the other time when we were looking. You did good. Thanks again.

According the 1860 US Federal Census - White River TWP in the County of Barry of Missouri. Eliza A. Lewis is recorded as 5 yrs of age which makes her birth about 1855. Her father is Eliga (likely Elijah)Lewis age 42 born in VA. Mother is not noted in this record, maybe deceased. Her siblings are as follows: Martha P. age 18,F; Abraham M. age 16, M; M. H. age 13,F; William A. age 3,M.
Not 100% sure if this is the same Eliza A Lewis (age 16)that was married to Elijah McQuerry Reynolds on or about 19 Mar 1871 in St Clair Co. MO.
Thank you for taking the time to look into this possible Reynolds family connection.
