Bio and Links
Bio Photo Researching my family tree has been a favorite past-time for over 20 years and I have my great uncle Edgar McCombs Baskerville to thank for that. I love to seek for the missing puzzle pieces and see them all fitting together.

Feel strongly that it is important to honor those who have passed by remembering not only the time they were here on earth, but also by providing a memorial online of their final resting spot, immortalizes that memory.

Photography is also another love of mine. Putting photography and genealogy together brings a descendant's story to life. I live on Roanoke Island and hope to provide more grave site photos of the more well-known cemeteries, but also the hidden and unknown.

My family tree names: Leckie, Robbins, Baskervill(e), Parker, Miller, Maglenn, Taber, Thompson, Taylor, Mildrum, Patch,Summers, Dishman, Jiggetts, Young, Gibbs, Brock, Eaton, Coleman, Gowin, Mayhew, Turner, Paxton, Bossier, Collins, Murry, Bolling, Rolfe...

Recently discovered descendants from Currituck and Hyde counties so I hope to cover a few cemeteries in those areas too (or network with others), as well as other resting places of my family in Iredell, Davie, Rowan, and Mecklenburg counties in NC and Mecklenburg and Halifax Counties in VA. Ambitious, yes, but fun. If I can take a photo for you in my immediate area, would be happy to!

John and Sue Robbins
Hi - I added the photos of these two Robbins (will get a better one of Sue Robbins' stone later). Your note asked whether there are other Robbins in the area; I haven't seen any. It's a large cemetery, though, and I'll keep looking. - Anna S

Baskerville's
Hi, I believe you are a 3rd cousin to me. Edgar is also my great uncle. I have a lot of Baskerville letters/history/documents, including some pictures of Buena Vista. I visited Eureka in Boydton in the 90's (it has be beautifully restored) and I have many pictures in and out of the house. In that trip, I saw my great grandfather's painting hanging in the town hall of Boydton. Edgar wrote an extensive history of the family, which I have, and you may have as well. I have tried to email you but perhaps my email didn't make it. I will try and email again. I am from Charlotte.

Taylor grave
Is your friend Dawn Taylor by chance?? If so, I know Dawn, I met her last Summer. She allowed me to hold and photograph the wooden headstone of My 4th Great Grandfather Little Joshua Gray. You probably know the story behind that headstone (made from ship timbers) that was found in an attic up in Massachusetts after it had been missing from the Gray family cemetery. I will go back to see if I can find the Taylor grave for you.

You're welcome! The graveyard is only a short distance from my house. Took a while to find it. but I could make out the Death date of 1880 and the last three letters LER in the last name so Voila! there he was. By the way, I have lots of family buried on Hatteras. I'm related to the Grays, O'neals, and Burrus families.

Alice Graham Bedinger
Hello- Thanks for writing! I think I found the entry which you wanted me to add the Graham/Baskerville parents to, so I did that today. This was Alice Sturdivant Graham Bedinger of Mt Hope Cem., in SC. Thanks for creating the new entries for her parents and adding those lovely photos!

RE: Alice G. Bedinger
LOL! We could possibly be related! Glad you figured that one out so fast (maybe we're not related, would probably have taken me a tad longer to solve that mystery) & you're welcome re Alice Baskerville. Am behind on my updates but catching up fast! Still working . . .
Have a great day!
Susan :)

Alice G. Bedinger
I'm a little confused, I don't manage any memorials for Alice G. Bedinger & can't find anything in my e-mail where I suggested any correction for anyone with the surname Bedinger.
Susan :)
