I'm addicted to Genealogy so my wife says. I've been doing it for about fifteen years. Taking pictures of all the kin I never got to meet. We were told we were the last of the Reece's "NOT"!! I started out with about ten names and have over six thousand five hundred. I'm really glad there are people who will help you with your research. FindAGrave is another tool for newcomers to Genealogy and Veterans. If you find any errors or would like for us to correct the info that was supplied to us please use the edit tab then the suggest a correction (SAC) bar.
My brother Jim & Rosa King and I are currently working on all the NC Vietnam KIA/MIA's Grave sites. After 8 years of searching, we've located all of the resting places for these brave men & women who paid the ultimate price, over 1900 of them. This doesn't mean we are idle. Now we are looking for their photos. The search for all Vietnam KIA/MIA's goes on.

Henry Franklin and Mary Moore Saunders Hey Mr. Reece, I just wanted to thank you for taking pictures of these headstones and adding them to the memorials you've been taking care of. I live on the other side of the country, so volunteers like you are special to me because you help keep my family connected in a way we wouldn't be otherwise. Thanks again. Sincerely, R Wright
Mary R. Hale 75584999 Hi Tom. Thank you for posting and providing an opportunity for families to be reconnected.
I am confident that Mary R. Hale is a distant cousin of mine who was born in the same small community of Gray's Creek, as I.
Her name is Mary Rackley Hale and born 21 June 1905 in Cumberland County, NC.
Her parents are: George Tate Rackley born 1863 and died before 1953, when her mother was listed as a widow. Burial is unknown.
Her mother: Margaret Jones Rackley born 28 September 1881. Died 26 December 1973. Margaret is buried at Cape Fear Baptist Church located on Butler Nursery Rd., Fayetteville, NC. Find a Grave: 97949744.
Social Securities records show that Mary completed four years of college.
Rich Kriess created the posting for Margaret Jones Rackley. I hope you are able to reconnect this mother and child.
Please check in on description for St. Mildred's Catholic Church Cemetery, Swansboro. Although the Church has a new location, the Cemetery remains adjacent to the former Church location, Hwy 24, Swansboro. You may want to change description of. Cemetery location to what follows or to something in your own words:
"Hwy 24 Swansboro next to former St. Mildred’s Church, which has been converted to town offices and parking lot."
