I found Find A Grave while looking up the grave of a famous person on a computer terminal where I used to work, in early 2004. I continued to look up other graves, & eventually was hooked.|
Every Cemetery is hallowed grounds.
They are an important key to our past.
Please teach Your children that cemeteries & grave markers are a specific location where human beings are permanetely buried, and that they are to be respected, and not damaged or destroyed in any way, shape, or form.
Cemeteries are very educational, they are very serene, & can be one of the safest places to be in. I have had many hobbies throughout my life;
But "Graving" has given me a very rewarding,
inner peace that I will never find elsewhere.

May I have your permission to download the photo of the gravestone of Charles Campbell (Memorial# 15878078)?
I would like to upload the photo into my Ancestry family tree.
Thank you for your consideration.

Dear Sandman, I'm hoping you can help me. I recently discovered the memorial for my 5th great grand father James Brownlee # 13819673. You both maintain this memorial and added the photo there. What I am hoping for is that you might have either a better photo or that perhaps you can read the inscription and add it to the memorial. Thanks, Bonnie

Do you have Dorcas's Husband William in a memorial? I haven't found it yet. A lot of Head stones have son or daughter of W & D on them Dorcas is the D.
They had 9 children my source is Edwards family tree on Ancestry. Walter B Sprowls was Dorcas and william's great grandson and my relative.
Are you related to the Sprowls
Do you have any information on Asberry Sprowls and who she may be related to?
