Bio and Links
Bio Photo I started taking pictures and adding data after my own mother died.
I was doing research on a neighborhood history project and accidently ran across a picture of that families' mausoleum on find a grave.
After looking at the site, I decided to add my family to the collection. When I took pictures of my families stones, I took others near them. Then I took pictures of good looking stones and monuments and odd ones or old ones.
Now, I try to honor any I find. I feel I am helping people find their history and honoring those who went before us.
I hope that if anyone finds their loved ones through me, that they will see it in that way.

Many Blessings,

Pam
----------------------------

Your tombstone stands among the rest;
Neglected and alone.
The name and date are chiseled out
On polished, marbled stone.
It reaches out to all who care
It is too late to mourn.
You did not know that I exist
You died and I was born.
Yet each of us are cells of you
In flesh, in blood, in bone.
Our blood contracts and beats a pulse
Entirely not our own.
Dear Ancestor, the place you filled
One hundred years ago
Spreads out among the ones you left
Who would have loved you so.
I wonder if you lived and loved,
I wonder if you knew
That someday I would find this spot,
And come to visit you.

I found this lovely poem on the site of Dave Buckmaster - I loved it and "borrowed" it.

I don't know what the connection is between Jasper C and Jasper Newton.
Might be cousins, but I have no record.

I haven't a clue about the information you're looking for on thyroid glands.

Dear Pamela,

I want to start by saying Thank You on behalf Genealogists everywhere for your contributions to the Find-A-Grave website.
I found the listing for my husband's 2nd Great Grandmother virtual Grave created by you.
I was wondering if maybe you could transfer the 'Grave" to me, Unless of course it it a family member of your own.
In which case I would love to know how you might be related to Mary Jane.
Please feel free to contact me about this or if you have any questions

RE: request for John Jacob Parks
That's strange. If I get to the cemetery tomorrow I will take a photo and add it to the site. Maybe that will help.

Links to 2 of the sources I mentioned:

Marriage Certificate:
https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/XDWL-CWR

Daughter Maud Evelyn Zurma's Death Certificate:
https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/X6Y3-WZW

Her death certificate lists her father as Adam Shriver, though it was likely John Shriver whom she was living with in 1850.

On Forrest's death certificate, the name is listed as Shriber, not Shribek. However, on Familysearch.org, it was transcribed as Shribek, because the "r" blends in with the bottom of the "p" from the word "Sep" on the line above, so it is listed in the index as Shribek, causing some family researchers to list it incorrectly. The death certificate for Albin Forrest Nees can be found here:

Pam, I would appreciate it if you would removed the thank you to me from this family's memorial pages. I do know them but we are not related. I worked with Sparky, a member of this family, for many years. Thank you.
