Bio and Links
Bio Photo My maiden name is Thelma Diane Russell. I was born in Beaver County, PA. (I go by 'Diane'.) I have been working on family genealogical records since the mid 1980's. Most of my immediate family is buried in Beaver Falls (PA) Cemetary. My husband, Charles David Inman (Chuck), is from New Galilee. Many of his families are buried in Reformed Cemetery there. We now live in Albemarle County, VA where I work with the local Central Virginia Genealogical Society and with the Jack Jouett Chapter of DAR documenting local cemeteries.

I believe that we need to share the information we find and the pictures we take with other families. Otherwise, why do this? Please feel free to copy any information or pictures from my sites that you care to.

I am looking for my g.g.g.g.g. Who was a Raleigh S. Morgan from Wales. Married a Rebecca Slyer. Could you get a picture of this headstone or is there even one? He also was supposedly in the war too. His sone was born in 1824 moved away from Potomac River/ Sheperadstown during the war to protect his family. I called Maplewood cemetery to ask about this grave. And the lady that answered was no help she said she hasn't even seen the cemetery.
I am hoping you can help!!! Thanks Sadina Morgan Phillips Millard

William Minor Lile
I believe this grave at University of Virginia is the son of Louisa Elizabeth Lile and John Allison Lile based on the obituary. I have also seen the profile of William Minor Lile former Dean of the Law school on the school's website saying he was from Trinity Alabama. I would like to see them linked.

83055723. William Minor Lile

43780135 Louisa Elizabeth Lile

43780051 John Allison Lile

I am researching my Lile family roots. Thank you for your work here it is very valuable. I am grand daughter of BB Comer Lile. He would have been the nephew of William and grandson of Louisa.

RE: 83075994 Henry Bennett 1777-1859
I believe this must be a second generation of Bennetts. Biographical sketches of early Crawford County specifically detail when the Bennetts arrived, and where from.
I tried to find her tree on Ancestry, but her tree must not be a Public one.
Thanks for your help!

Thank you Diane!
I know that father William came over from the Susquehanna River area. The History of Crawford County has the dates of the arrivals and everything.
So, I will check in with the person you suggested and try to sort it out with her! Would you like to be kept informed as to what we find?

83075994 Henry Bennett 1777-1859
I have a question about Henry Bennett's place of birth. All his siblings were born in Northumberland County, many specified Bald Eagle Twp, then Northumberland Co, PA. Henry's place of birth is listed as Crawford County. The History of Crawford County lists both Henry and Anthony Bennett coming from the Susquehanna around 1798, so I was wondering about the birth location on the Find A Grave listing.

I am trying desperately to locate the father of my ancestor, Nancy Bennett, who could possibly be daughter of William Bennett (the father) and his wife Ann, who also came from the Susquehanna, after some of their sons had come to Crawford County.

Just hoping to find a lead!
