Bio Photo After retirement I missed talking to people. Started assisting Crain Funeral Home in Newton. (backdoor neighbor) Found cemetery's interesting.
Together With my Wife Wanda and very good friend Zeoy Nix, we tour the county looking and finding cemeterys. We normally work Jasper County only.

Thanks Ralph for getting the Lobmier headstone pictures for me. I am in the casket and funeral supply business and also enjoy cemeteries.

The Ginder's and the Sinclair's from Newton are my wife's side of the family. Have been to Newton twice but missed getting pictures.

Have a great life!

Ralph, not wanting to wear out my welcome here but I was wondering if you know anything about the history of Bailey cemetery. I have an old document listing the graves at Bailey and it frequently includes a list of "markers" among the graves that often have the initials of the people originally buried there.

Have you seen this and do you know what the purpose of these markers is?

Jacob and Mary Ellen Holm

Many thanks for getting this picture of the Holm children. This branch of our family has been very difficult to research and finding confirmation that the children are buried in Bailey is great news. Thanks very much.

Since you didn't post a picture of Mary A Holm, their monther, I assume that the stone is not there since it would've been next to the children.

Thanks again,
Ed Rowlance

Thomas Wisemore grave marker
THANK YOU, THANK YOU. ..... Yes, that is what I wanted a Thomas "Wisemore" and you found it. Someone else put up another page at Find a Grave at the same cemetery for a Thomas "Westmore" However, no photo of a marker but a death date of what I have for Thomas Wisemore. I think whoever did it didn't read the marker well if they saw it.
You have plug another "hole" for me in my quest to find my ancestors. I appreciate it so much! The photo is great too!
thanks again.......... Candy Kvidahl
