Wanda Schrell (Richardson) Green (1924-2010) | Visit Guest Book
BONHAM - Funeral services for Wanda Schrell (Richardson) Green, age 86 of Gober will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 11, 2010 at Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home Chapel in Bonham. Family visitation will be held prior to the service starting at 1 p.m. and go until service time. Rev. Steve Hunter will officiate the service, with interment to follow at Gober Cemetery in Gober. Mrs. Green passed away on Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at Texoma Medical Center in Denison.
Wanda Green was born in Dodd City on August 31, 1924 to parents Jess Granville and Sadie (Herriage) Richardson. She married Jack Stanley Green on November 6, 1943 in Bonham. He preceded her in death on April 30, 2010. She worked for Hennington Publishing in Wolfe City as a photography technician, and was a member of Gober Baptist Church.
She is survived by daughters Brenda Blain and husband Floyd of Garland, Barbara Stone and husband Jerry of Malakoff, and Jackie Daugherty and husband Tony of Pottsboro; one son, Mark Green of Gober; seven grandchildren, Kellie Burnside, Christopher Blain, Lisa Kotera, Scott Stone, Amy Neal, Josh Neal, and Zachary Green; nine great-grandchildren; two sisters, Docia Bryant of Bonham and Sarah Tidwell of Granbury; along with numerous nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home in Bonham.
