|If you are a family member with information you wanted added to any of the Memorials, you are welcome to give me your ID# and I can transfer management over to you! My children and I doing this as a homeschooling type activity as well as just something wholesome to contribute to the community but I don't have all day to go through records and update them so I prefer to transfer management over if a family member comes along! thank you!|

Oh wow, you are super awesome! You should have asked me, I had her phone number and address already, I didn't even think about you maybe wanting to contact her, so sorry. She has spoken to Ned Bowden (my husband's grandpa and the one I got the scans of the family "books" he has)on the phone and through snail mail and that is the line my husband is from. Grandpa Ned Bowden & wife Florence Gunder, then Ned's father is Frank Lester Bowden & wife Lorraine Belle Freeland, his grandfather is Fred Bowden & wife Elizabeth Barry. On his maternal line, from Lorraine Freeland, it goes William Lloyde freeland and wife Frederika Reckley. It might be easier for me to just send you some of the line via email or something..... I know she must have tons of info to look through and I know I was overwhelmed with all grandpa Ned had to show me and it soon got a little confusing, lol :)
There is a photo of Ned Bowden as a baby sitting on his grandma's lap, I think it's his grandma Frederica (Reckley) Freeland and that would be really neat to have a better image of that one.
Thanks so much for asking, really appreciate you contacting her and going to see her even. I hope all her wonderful collections get into the right hands when she passes, as she must have spent years assembling it all, really an amazing treasure!

Hi Amanda. I will go by sunrise today or tomorrow and ask at the office and find out what's up. The office workers there have always been helpful. I'll check back with you once
i talk to them.
Hey, I was visiting relatives up in northern MI a couple weeks ago and was given some copies of photos of the Freelands and others. I believe there are a couple photos of your Mrs. Wood and husband, would you like them? Email me your email and I can send them.....

There are some Burches' on my mothers side but I do not think these are kin. Most of the ones i am related to are in Oak Grove in Coldwater.
|Jefferson Seaver||Martha Holliwood Hepworth|
The correct marriage date for Samuel Clayton Hepworth and Martha Holliwood is in 1841, not 1831. Martha would only have been 12 years old in 1831. Samuel was about 11 years older than Martha.
Ahhh, Mary E.L. Wood/ Mary Elwood = Mary Ellen Louise Wood, I think, but I can see how it became "Elwood".......I saw a Mary E.L. Wood in another family tree and also in some censuses, so with your death cert for Henry, I'm sure that is her.

Ok, I think I've got it straightened out now :) It should be Mary E. WOOD, not Elwood. I changed it and found an obituary to corroborate it....
Thanks for having me look into it!

I'm looking into it now, although I'm on vacation and not on my regular computer and this one is a little slow......let me see what I did and I'll let you know.
