Hi all, |
Family history and genealogy are two of my passions. I'm hoping to connect with the descendents of my ancestors and relatives.
Any photo that I've posted at Find-A-Grave may be used for any non-commercial purpose (family trees, personal use, etc.). Please don't forget to give photographic credit where it's due though.
I'm disabled and don't travel easily, so any help will be greatly appreciated!
MANY THANKS IN ADVANCE!

James S Law. I was looking at the memorial and noticed that you have information on Francis Law (my 4th great grandfather) in his memorial. Francis was never in the Revolutionary War and never went from the British to the American side. They didn't arrive in America from Ireland until about 1794. I've also left a note with his parents memorial numbers. His sister's Eliza Law Byram's is 16669627. Will you please link these memorials? Thank you!

I see your requests for this cemetery, but is under about 2 feet of snow now. I expect to get to all requests in April. Don't give up!

I hope your memorial survives the 'deceptive duplicate dump' done with this memorial. :o)
I think you and I are some sort of cousins-in-law

Your're very welcome. For the past year, since I am retired, I have volunteered to do this to not only help out the local library but also the Family History Center. So, I have been mass photo shooting different cemeteries here in Bates County and posting the pics wherever I can. I know the miles I traveled when I started family genealogy in 1994 to get pics, so I am glad to do this worthwhile effort to help people save money for other things. Have a great year in Jesus!

Dr. Albert Clinton Kniskern, whose 3rd wife was Sarah N. Tallmadge, is interred in Saint Paul's Lutheran Cemetery, Village of Schoharie, Schoharie Co., NY.
He is buried next to his 1st wife, Blanche S. Smith, and his 2nd wife, Blanche's sister, Francis.
Saint Paul's Lutheran is a trove awaiting discovery by a dedicated FindAGrave researcher(s).

In reading further in the early pages of Col. Levering's book, I find that he used the Rev. Dr. Jones' book as a base and elaborated on it. Rev. Dr. Jones had 2053 names listed, Col. Levering 7401. In both cases, the authors list quite a few of the later names as still living at the time their book was published.
I currently have both books bookmarked and available as tabs on my home page. I also keep bookmarks on the Sater and Shoemaker families. I am currently creating my own index to Col. Levering's book. I want to show where to find the children of each couple in this book. On page 97 we find Anna Catharine3 (Levering) and Heinrich Frey. Their children are listed on page 107. If I'm at P97 I could page through to P107 but by replacing the number after the word "page" in the address bar, I can jump right to it. This is important when the couple are listed on P175 and the kids listing starts at P255.
