I've been chasing tombstones since 1992. Traveling thousands of miles and always having an adventure.|
I always like to share my finds with others. Find a grave.com is just another way for me to share my information.
The surnames I research are Cook, Trader, VanDyne/Vandine/VanDuyn, McKimmie, Fankhouser, Furbee and Postlethwait
I am a direct descendant of Mayflower passengers Stephan Hopkins and his daughter Constance.

|Carol ||)ld Bethel Cemetery|
Mr. Cook, I noticed that you entered most of the Find A Grave entries for the Old Bethel Cemetery, Harrison Co., OH. There are others buried in the cemetery according to the book "Cemeteries to Remember." If you would like to enter the missing people, I would be glad to send you the pages from the book. What you are doing is so very important. When I look at the photos of the stones and see how close they are to disappearing, the record you and others like yourself are making may be all that is left of these people in another twenty years. And Find A Grave reaches a great number of researchers but the book I have does not, so I would like to make those pages pertinent to Old Bethel available to you for your use. Just send me an e-mail address so I can send the pages to you rather than this open forum. Thank you for your good work. Carol Hines at email@example.com

Richard was my maternal great-grandfather. My grandmother was Usher's daughter, Rosa May Cook Burge (1899-1969)from Wetzel County WV. Could you add her to the list of Usher's children? Thank you. My email is firstname.lastname@example.org if you need to contact me.

Thanks Tom, I live in Fort Lauderdale, FL and didn't know that there was more than one Mt Zion Cemetery in Wetzel County. I fixed the error, thanks to you. Hilda Ehardt
Hi again, Tom!
Probably no connection, but I have family members with the name "Postlewait." Just found it interesting!
